Best art in town, best views in town! The art displayed at Elevation Gallery is refreshingly contemporary while being very accessible to all audiences. For something different from the usual wildlife and landscape art, go to Elevation Gallery!

It was nice walking into a gallery, being greeted by staff, and then being left alone to browse, knowing somebody was there to answer questions. The selection of art here is stunning, with a strong contemporary drift, but also some classic stuff.

I am very familiar with this gallery over the past 11 years. It continues to be the most innovative and current gallery in Canmore. I was compelled to write a review after so many years , as I read the one bad review posted recently. I know that it has been a very rough year health wise, staff wise and for many other reasons for this owner. There would be no bad intention...just a lot of scrambling to keep up. Hang in Elevation....you’re keeping Canmore interesting!

It is worth climbing the stairs from street level! After all, this is the Rockies, where most activities involve climbing. Stop in awe on the stairs and look at the Incredible art! Then enter the gallery, that is like one big apartment, with different rooms, furnished with gorgeous art pieces. Bowls made of copper. Beautiful painted tiles. Gorgeous wooden table in the board room . Did I already mention Copper Bowls? And paintings. I could dream that I slept in a house, surrounded by ART
