The beautiful nature trails with birds allow you to find your internal self. The trails are well maintained. There are benches where you can sit and relax. It’s a great place for families and dog walking - providing they are in a leash and the owner picks up after them.

Campbell Valley Regional Park is maintained by the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks board. The park is formed from 6 historical farm plots, with portions set aside for the Langley Tree Farm and scout Camp McLean. It contains a vast number of hiking, walking and equestrian trails as well as function facilities such as picnic shelters.
Within the park there are 29 kilometres of trails, all unpaved, 14 km of which are designated for equestrian use and 1 km of which is set aside solely for pedestrian and bicycle use. More bicycle trails have become available since the 2009 construction of the perimeter trail.
The Southern end of the park is home to both the Rowlatt Farmstead and the historical Lochiel Schoolhouse. Both landmarks predate 1924.Â
In the late 19th century and the early 20th century, many logging companies took advantage of the temperate rainforest in the area and clearcut the entire park. During this time, logging railways wound throughout the park. The route of one such rail line is clearly visible today along the Ravine Trail at the South end of the park. The routes of the railways are marked on park maps.
An old paved racing oval is located in the eastern section of the park and is maintained by the Langley Speedway Historical Society. In the past, it was host to local and NASCAR racing events.

We decided to enter via the South Entrance, off 8th Ave. This area was much less crowded than the North Entrance (off 16th). We had a wander around the old farmstead then headed north. We ended up on the Shaggy Mane Trail, which is not what we wanted (signage could be better at the south end). This trail is used by horseback riders. Eventually we reached the Little River Loop. This is a wonderful walk through the woods with a lot of bird life. The birds seem to be used to people and were not scared by us. The boardwalk over the river is a great spot to sit and watch songbirds in the reeds, ducks in the water, and raptors in the trees overhead.
When we returned to the South Entrance we saw where we went wrong at the beginning. If you are going to the loop trail from the south, follow the trail downhill, behind the washrooms. It looks like it's going the wrong way, but it soon doubles back and heads north.
The south end has flush toilets. The north end has pit toilets. The south end has some nice picnic areas. This is a good park with some easy walking trails.

Wonderful walking trails for people and horses. Paths for people accommodate strollers and safe for young children who like to dart ahead to catch the butterflies. Dog on lease friendly with designated off leash areas. Well maintained, washroom facilities available.

I have been going to this park for over 25 years. Always a beautiful walk on groomed trails and just a nice way to kick back and enjoy some peace and quiet. Parking can get busy in the summer but well worth a stroll around the grounds. This park has been the site of maternity pictures for myself and family photos and just overall amazing memories.

Bring your unsalted peanuts and black oil sunflower seeds for the squirrels and birds. The birds will l and right on your hand to have a snack. I have had the squirrels take the peanuts right from my hand. So much fun.
Great trails to walk through with the sunlight streaming through the trees. This park has Bridges over the water, and lots of interesting facts about wildlife and vegetation and you will get some great photos.
Bring your pooch on a leash for a great walk. Have fun.

My wife and grandson and I went for a walk through the trails and along the way we saw these small birds being fed. There where people with bird seed in there hands and the birds where flying up to them and taking it right out of there hand. They have a few different trails witch are all marked with walking times.

This park is highly recommended. If you like the idea of squirrels approaching you for nuts, or chickadees landing on your hand to eat seeds out of the palm of your hand? This is the park for you. Lots of trails, lots of Wildlife. I love this park!

What a little gem in the heart of Langley, so easily accessed from 8 Avenue or 16 Avenue. Parking on weekends can be challenging on a sunny day but worth the little patience for a parking spot.
