I got the feeling that unless we had booked a tasting for a large group they were not prepared for drop-ins. The staff was welcoming and friendly but the tasting lounge was sparse and ill prepared for any guests.

The sign said open, but no one was around when we arrived. A call was made and someone promptly appeared. He gave us a complimentary tasting of 3 wines, which has been rare in the area. I especially enjoyed the unique port-style cranberry wine.

My wife and I visited the Winery as part of our usual motorcycle ride through the Glen Valley backroads on a sunny late-summer afternoon. We tasted about a dozen table and dessert wines, mostly made from local berries. The hostess/server was friendly, helpful, and efficient...More

I like this winery. It's out of the way and not a grape product. However, I've been twice and both times it's busy and staff is lacking. I recommend the trip in but suggest you have time as one staff member cannot do it all...and...More
