Selected the premium wine tasting in a separate room vs tasting bar. Made it much more enjoyable. Tasting is still inside without views but wines were excellent

Our tasting host was a TOUCH humorless and disinterested, but other than that, our visit to nk'mip cellars was fantastic. It was more elegant than we imagined, and the wines were superb (especially the meditate). The vineyards in the desert climate are unique and have a wonderful lake backdrop.

Had a wine tasting and what surprised me that they expect the customers to swallow the wine. Requested a spittoon, they did not had one, and I ask for a Glas to deposit the wines into it (This is the reason why I do not give them 4 stars) which the wines actually deserve. Liked the Pinot Blank and the Merlot the best and purchased some. Nice service and one feels secure in the cleaning and distance measures they have. Well worth a visit.

We fell in love with their Pinot Blanc - flinty, full bodied, clean and rich flavour - there are definitely grapes in the bottle. The other 4 wines were enjoyable too. Our tasting hostess was Karen - very charming, knowledgeable, one of the most "professional" tasting hostess in our over 100 winery visits worldwide. I feel the winery is more about making good wine than making money. I read about the Okanagan Indian Band Chief - Clarence Louie - it helped me understand the mission of the winery - superb but affordable wines. We lucked into speaking with Sam Baptiste, the General Manager of the Vineyards. He knows his grape stock in detail - the varietals, the clones, the suitable soils (Ok, terroir too!). His passion is incredible. The winery building is first class, the tasting room spacious and elegantly decorated, with huge native peoples content.
