Being 1600 feet above the city, it was the perfect place to see the beautiful stars of the Milky Way above us, and the tranquil city of Osoyoos below us

After viewing the valley from the lookout, continue along hiway 3 east and get your picture taken with all the animal statues that mark the subdivision roads along the way! Be especially vigilant of the Sasquatch, he's big and scary, but really friendly!!! Good way to get out of town, stretch your legs, and catch some "one of" views of... More

A nice 15 minute drive along highway 3 East from downtown Osoyoos. Maybe I should say a straight up the mountain drive. The drive is easy but there are a few switchbacks. However, at the top, the whole valley is laid out for you with spectacular views North, South and West. We didn't go further up to where you have... More

We were staying at the NK'MIP RV Park, which sits at the base of Anarchist Mountain in Osoyoos. We spent the winter there and didn't have snow tires so didn't attempt driving the mountain until the snow eased up a bit! When we did, it was a thrilling experience. It's a terrific drive - just challenging enough to be highly... More

Definitely worth pulling into the lookout and spending some time enjoying the panorama of the lake and valley. Turn around and be impressed with the houses perched on the cliffs.

If you want to see the whole valley, take yourself on up. It is a rough forestry road, so drive slowly and enjoy the views. There w a big fire here in 2015, so lots of blacken trees but now open views. There are 2 hikes at the top. 1 km to viewpoint, amazing!! and 4 km around that mountain.

Best view of Osoyoos and the lakes. Worth the long, bendy, steep drive up as long as its a nice clear day.

This look out has a pull-in so you can get out and snap some great shots of the awesome panoramas from the position. The pull-in is a bit small (2-3 cars max are what it would comfortably accommodate) bit its loveliness outstrips this limitation. a must see.

If it is cloudy don't go Just before you drive up there is a giant billboard that says. "You are about to get closer to god". And that is true. It is a straight drive up Wish that there is a better look out

This is a spectacular viewpoint. The whole lake is visible, with the surrounding orchards and vineyards. Not to be missed, even if you have to let that huge truck get ahead of you while you've pulled over.
