On a sunny day, you truly can see forever. From the USA to the top of the lake, the panorama is spectacular. In the distance are the Cascade Mountains. Best photo op ever.

We stopped at the viewpoint overlooking the Osoyoos valley. What a view! Well worth the stop. Parking space is limited, so stop and enjoy the view if you can.

If you are lucky enough to visit Osoyoos, driving up to the lookout is a must. You will see all of the Lake below you as well as the town of Osoyoos and the town of Orville in Washington state.

I rode up here a bunch of times from Osoyoos when I was on vacation. It's a great climb, easy for road cyclists and more challenging I would suspect for others. Still, the view is really nice from the lookout. The parking is very small....More

First - the negatives: MUST approach eastbound/uphill from Osoyoos. Entrance not easy to see - keep your eyes peeled, or you may miss it. Not very big, may be crowded and difficult to exit and get going again. However, the view makes it worth dealing...More

Please be advised, the best (and I think only) way to access the lookout is eastbound on Highway 3. Having been here before, the views on a clear day are spectacular. With summer time in BC (aka Fire Season) that sometimes can be the catch....More

Yes. There's a different pullout and viewing area when you're heading into town (travelling west). Just pull over when the sign tells you to. Don't miss it. You can't access the eastbound (uphill) pullout from the westbound... More

Take Highway 3 heading east out of Osoyoos at lake level. The highway switch backs its way up and the view point is on a pull out as you reach the top. the drive up is 15 minutes.
