Came with a three year old and a 14 year old. They really enjoyed the construction exhibit (especially the roller coaster construction). The outside area is beautiful -- love the old buildings and the trees. It was disappointing that you couldn't get into them easily. Found out halfway through our visit that we could ask the front entrance staff about... More

Kind of empty here without events, I picked the place because I stayed in Monte Carlo Inn, it's a bus at the front of hotel and can transfer one bus to here. The exhibition is poor without organized things.

Thank you for your review and feedback. I apologize for your poor experience here at Markham Museum. Construction City, our latest exhibition, has been the highlight of several programs and camps this year. Markham Museum offers school groups and camp groups the opportunity to explore the exhibition through STEM based activities, learning about the forces of gravity, inertia, and momentum.... More

Attended a beautiful wedding here. Unique, vintage casual but very classy. Beautiful grounds to wander and attentive staff.

We were invited to the museum for a children's birthday party. It was an amazing first visit for our family! The kids had an opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt outside, which was run by one of the staff. They had a great time and the parents followed with their cameras. Then they had a quick snack of smores... More

There were about 150 guests and more than enough parking spaces. The reception was outdoors under a big top tent and use of the gazebo for photo booth as well as a large shelter for dancing. They were able to set up large audio speakers and so they were able to use microphones and DJ equipment for music. The event... More

Lots of activities. Lots of special events. Nice property and great place for a stroll on a sunny day. Make sure you ask for a tour and learn about the history and upcoming events.

The Markham Museum always has something going on, it is a nice place to visit and go for a stroll and see all the heritage buildings that are located at the back. Great for pictures and learn about history from the pioneer times.

The Markham museum offers a blast of the past and programming that connects with the present. Great childrens programs and links to the community. From farm to table was an excellent exhibit creating links to the quickly disappearing countryside. Markham was originally a farming community so the exhibit had great poignancy as our grade A farmland vanishes into tract housing.
