This place is a dump!

The WorseCasino in the World. we ve been to casinos in the Caribbean, Asia, All over UnitedStates including Skagit, Tulalip, Famous Rama in Orillia Ontario, Niagara Falls USA and Sheraton, Buffalo NY, Regina Sask, Manila Philippines and the Casino on and off the Strip.

This Hard Rock in Coquitlam Canada lacks waitresses, super bad service, extremely bad overpriced Buffet. This place takes only one thing in mind in profits, your money with no value in return.

This place needs to be permanently shut down now October 2021!

if they have any future show venues, do the community a favour and go somewhere else.

*if you really need to see a third rated show like Andrew Clay, bring in your own drinks and tv dinner.

all honesty no one from the city goes to this place, Sadly Fraser Valley lacks real genuine entertainment, a hangout for white local drinkers and girls that need a place to go to, to get dressed up and used an excuse to get out from their boring housebound-husbands.

Went here for a private staff party which was awesome!! Great food and appys! Drinks very pricey though .as for the casino you could NOT get a cocktail waitress anywhere in the floor when gambling. Was told to go to the bar by he coffee lady :/the
Bar by the buffet was ok thank goodness for the happy hour . It sucked that we had to walk all the way around the facility to get to our venue . Front entrance not very welcoming staff not too helpful I couldn’t find the place to register my encore account that I did online . Tried the disco no tables or seats for our group managed to share with a friend for a short visit then left . Should be a hotel connected which I found very odd there wasn’t . We had to get a cab back to go hotel shuttles were not available . Prob won’t be back rather go to one with a hotel connected

The concert venue at the hard rock casino in Coquitlam is the worst I have ever been to in my life (I've been to lots of concerts). I recently went to see the Mexican rock band Molotov at this, so called venue, I was in line for a beer when the band started to play, I looked towards the stage and didn't see anything, I thought maybe they were just playing recorded music to get the crowd going. After getting my beer and walking closer to the stage I realized the stage is lower than the general admission floor, it's about 4-5 steps down and on the same level as the platinum seats, which only make up about 10 percent of the seats. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, the stage sitting lower than the main floor, I'm tall and I could kind of see over the people on the railing and DOWN to the stage. This is truly the dumbest setup for concerts I have ever encountered, people in the back of the general admission floor deserve to see the stage as well, not just the priveleged few. I will never buy tickets for this venue again!

slot machine wouldn't take my $5 bill so it was brought to the cashier, after 20 min. four people couldn't tell if the bill was authentic, so i requested it'd be returned to me and to forget exchanging it for me. the staff were rude, did not want me to stay after i demanded for my money. they told me i couldn't stay and barred for a year because i told them i wasn't going to wait any longer and they started to get rude and condescending, asking for my id and that i was an old lady, gave me a hard time when i refused to give them what they wanted. i didn't do anything wrong but to ask for a different $5 bill, they were inefficient at what was supposedly their job.

This is the absolute WORST venue I have ever been at to see a concert. So poorly designed. The stage is lower than the GA standing area meaning when you add in 6-7 rows of people, you can’t see the band on the stage….at all! You can’t even see their heads. In addition the lineup to buys drinks was at least 20 minutes long. Contrast this with other similar sized venues (1000 people) like the Commodore where the views are great and the beer lineup is short. I will never pay money to see a concert here ever again.

saw Gordon Lightfoot on Satuday, worst concert experience ever. long line to get in and the show started while there was still a long line waiting to get in. then for the next half hour people were going up and down the isle looking for their seat. Just when everyone was seated and I could enjoy the show. A staff member was running up and down the stairs yelling at people to put their phone away. EVERYONE had their phone out! That what people do, I asked the staff member please stop running up and down the stairs yelling at people, she was very rude and just yelled at I am doing my job.

Had been a longtime customer here till they shutdown the poker room. Glad to see it back. Very nice room. The know against it is they still have the same angry staff that forget they are in the customer service business. A lot of very angry and miserable staff that make the experience there hard to enjoy most visits.

Red Robinson is a Vancouver icon and the changing of the name of the Theatre is highly disrespectful of the Man but sadly an example of how poorly Hard Rock run their facilities. They are insensitive to the community and their patrons.... Their first enterprise in Vancouver failed and frankly they won't see me their nor will I have anything to do with any other Great Canadian Casino Properties, they are equally at fault for this pathetic decision

I stopped going to Canadian Casinos 2 years ago and only go the US now. Hard Rock is just nothing but a no-fun zone. You may as well walk in with your 100$ and hand it over to the first person you see because the slots don't even let you play. Even the Canadian slogan is 'play for fun and not to win'. There is neither there. Dropped my Gold card in the garbage and never looked back. I do go for shows as the theatre is nice. Here's my fave story. Bought a Caesar drink about 5 minutes before show time. Had one sip. Walked about 30 steps to the theatre and was told I can't take my drink in. Another 20 steps inside the theatre is a bar, serving Caesars. The really sad thing (sad for them) is that when I purchased the drink, I asked for a bottle of water because I WAS GOING INTO THE SHOW and wanted it for then. Perhaps it might be wise to let patrons know they can't take purchased liquor from THEIR establishment into THEIR establishment. Of course, NOBODY could give me an answer why so I had to put my $14.00 Caesar in the garbage so I could get into the show. Go to the US folks and don't waste your time. And oh yeah, you can get a bottle of water from the food court but I believe it's about $2.00 or more. Doesn't matter than you gamble, have dinner, go to a show and spend hundreds. That bottle of water is going to cost you. Just over the border I receive endless comp'd rooms, drinks, buffet dinners, upgraded rooms and the best service in the Pacific Northwest. I was going to Canadian Casinos for over 8 years and I have never received so much as a free cup of coffee. It looks to me like there's hardly anybody there who even remotely likes their job. I will say however, the people in the theatre who take you to your seats are always very friendly but the rest? Nothing but a ROYAL FLUSH of the toilet kind.

As a Hard Rock Cafe patron visiting areas all over the world. I needed to pop in and of course get a cup to signify my travels. I thought I would drop in with my teenage daughter. Now being a casino I did not realize the store/restaurant was inside the casino. I wasn’t going to come all that way and leave without a cup at least even though couldn’t eat. I gave my teenage daughter the keys and said I will run in and get the cup and be right there. The gentlemen at the door told me he would call the cops as he wasn’t going to babysit my daughter. I responded she is the one who does the babysitting. She is a teenager. He made me walk her outside off the property or he was calling the cops. She waited on public property while I ran in grabbed the cup and left. Thinking back to the scenario as the day passes this will be my last cup to collect as the way this organization made me feel was unacceptable and I will no longer continue to support it in anyway. If anyone knew me I am one of the nicest people and do not start a scene, be rude or unacceptable ever. I wish I would have used my voice more that day.
Casino or no casino we were not dealing with a 12 year old child or infant. She was 16years old. Old enough to drive.
