Took my friends daughters for the Polar Express ride. Too bad it was pouring that day, but they enjoyed it. For me it was just nice to see the old train again. This train brought so much joy, along with thousands of tourists. Just wishing one day the provincial government would anti up to get her back running again.

They stopped running this steam train due to parts becoming harder and harder to find. In its glory days it ran the track to Squamish and back through the Howe sound . It was a scenic and spectacular views . So sad to see it not running anymore. Good rides made all of us who rode on this train. Great... More

This is still an attraction, sort of. It is not running. So sad as such a fun way to travel slowly on tracks hanging from the sides of the cliffs over Howe Sound. But the train is parked in the Train Museum out of Squamish which is well worth the visit, train buffs or not.

If it is discontinued Trip Advisor should take the listing down! It gives people false information! Who is monitoring Trip Advisors listings?

This service ceased many years ago. The Whistler mountaineer, however, runs a high quality train trip to Whistler.

Loved the views along way and ended up moving to Squamish as a result. My review comes with a BIG caveat: the company locked these people out for more than a year and hired scabs at low wages to break their resolve, all so they can make more money. Completely disgusted by this and I will never go on here... More

This attraction has been discontinued as the steam locomotive was too expensive to fix as it needed new boilers

The Royal Hudson was a jewel in British Columbia. You could hear it's steam whistle and the huff and puff of it all in West Vancouver. However, we made a visit to Squamish last year and it is in storage in the museum. For how long we were unble to find out. Hopefully they will bring it out so that... More
