We took a nice and short walk to Cleveland Dam from the parking lot. It is currently being refurbished. The Cleveland Dam is a concrete dam at the head of the Capilano River and is part of Capilano River Regional Park. Both the park and the dam are free to visit.

The Cleveland Dam is one of the best sights in North Vancouver and it is 100% FREE. Unlike the suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain which can get pricey just to visit, the Cleveland Dam has free parking right near the paths which lead to the park. No fee to see the sights, the same, if not better views of the... More

The dam is between Capilano and Grouse Mountain, spectacular view. Beautiful gardens and picnic area and easy to park. Can't believe we were up Grouse Mountain yesterday when I looked up at it from this area.

The Cleveland Dam is between the Capilano Suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain. It's a quick and easy stop to park, check out flowers, the water, and to look up at Grouse Mountain. There is a little park that is built in front of the scenic view and the locals were using it to sit and picnic. The park is not... More

We happened upon this by chance....quite a scenic little spot. There are many picnic tables available so we went back another day and enjoyed a picnic lunch. You can escape the crowds of the capilano suspension bridge here as it is relatively quiet.

This is an absolutily lovely spot to visit. The actual Dam is just a littlr dam that is shot most of the time. However the greenery and the lake view is amazing and super relaxing environment. Free parking and tons of green trails and facilities around.there was an EV electrical charging station too ( it was temporarily out of order... More

Attended a wedding ceremony just on the hill up from the parking lot. It was free to park here and looks like a great park to spend time with the family. The view is lovely.

Great, peaceful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. You can also walk across the dam and stand above the spillway. Plenty of water going over when we were there so quite a sight. You can walk to a lower view point and look back at the dam and spillway which is also good. There are hikes but we didn't... More
