Beautiful time on the water!

We arrived approx. 15 mins. before our reservation. Found it a bit difficult to find as Belcarra Park is huge and Takaya Tours is located at the picnic area. We were outfitted... read more

My husband and I started going Kayaking when we were in Hawaii and then thought to ourselves why not doing it in our own backyard. So we started coming here and we come back at least once a year for another couple of hours out on the ocean! This year we brought his parents and they LOVED it. Will come... More

We've rented kayaks from the Belcarra location a number of times over the years. The service has improved since the days when you didn't know if they'd open or not. The staff is friendly, if a bit casual. They don't exhibit the professionalism of an outfit like Deep Cove, but that can also be seen as part of the charm... More

We had a wonderful afternoon with our cultural guide Cease and Guy leaving from Cates Park, paddling up Indian Arm in the ocean-going canoe. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience and we all had a tranquil and relaxing time. Both Guy and Cease were wonderful singing to us and giving us a glimpse into the Tsleil-Waututh Nation.... We arrived approx. 15 mins. before our reservation. Found it a bit difficult to find as Belcarra Park is huge and Takaya Tours is located at the picnic area. We were outfitted with our equipment which was all in great shape. We were given a briefing on where the best area to go was and helped out on the water.... More

I had a groupon for a 2-hour, tandem kayak rental. It turned out that it was preferable for us to have two single kayaks, and I was prepared to to pay the difference in price (it was about $10 difference). The two fellows simply replied that there was no need to do so. We arrived at about 2pm and, after... More

We found the shed and walked in but no one there for a good 10 mins. When the guy and girl finally showed up, they were more interested in talking to each other than address my friend and I. We had to interrupt them to put our names down. After our wait, we came back ready to get on a... More

we bought a social shopper for the 2 hour double kayak tour. We made reservations for 11:00 am for a group of 4 (2 couples) but we had to reschedule a couple of times because of a family emergency and we finally went and did the kayaking last weekend and it was such a disaster. First, when we got there... More

Absolutely, safe n sound! Educational, spiritual, and the story telling of what happened here hundreds of years ago, I was like in another world...I had a fear of canoeing, and after this trip, it was just breathtaking! The guides were knowledgeable, kept you safe and so much laughter! If you're looking for something different to do while here in Vancouver!... More

A friend and I had made reservations to rent two single kayaks for a Friday, from the Belcarra location. We got there at 10 (when they're supposed to open) but the office they operate out of wasn't open.
