We booked the three hour lazy kayaking tour in Deep Cove. Trent was our guide and he was brilliant. Pointed out interesting points which we would have missed had we gone on an un-guided kayak ourselves. He also showed us the most amazing purple starfish and we were lucky enough that the seals were out in force on the day... More

I signed up for the Deep Cove Explorer tour and loved every second of it. Andrew Hubbard was my tour guide and he was awesome. He made sure we all knew what we were doing, took the time to talk to everyone, gave us a great history and pointed out amazing native pictographs and made sure we drifted so curious... More

Our guide, Dan, was very welcoming and helpful. She provided good instruction, as this was the first time my family and I had tried kayaking. Kept a good pace for the group, provided insight to the area, and even had a DELICIOUS snack for the group when we had our first break. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed the 2 hour kayak rental in Deep Cove. The view is awesome of the surroundings. There are more houses being built around the cove, but for the most part feel in nature. Calm waters very relaxing and safe. Mornings are best! Get there half hour before to register , book before you go as very popular especially... More

We took a 3 hours tour kayaks, and it was wonderful! Our guide, Andy, was knowledgeable about the area, very friendly and very patient. It was slow pace, with no rush. We had time to talk, joke, and the stop at Belcarra beach was just on time. There are restrooms on site, we stopped for 10-15 minutes and enjoyed some... More

Our guide, Vanessa, was simply awesome and pointed out all kinds of interesting things as we paddled around the Deep Cove Bay area. She even encouraged us all to go for a swim which was very refreshing! We saw (small) pictograms, seals, herring shoals and lovely scenery on our trip and had a most enjoyable time. The company itself seems... More

Hi Victoria - thank you so much for taking the time to review us and for your comments. I'm glad you had such a great time, and am not surprised that Vanessa encouraged a swim - she is pretty much half seal :) Hope to see you on the water again with us soon, Amy More

Kayaking in Deep Cove is a must if you're in the Vancouver area! No experience is required, they give you full instruction on what to do and it's 100% safe. We had James as our guide and he was great! He was knowledgable about the area and told us all the history about it. He took the time to get... More

My family and I ended up doing the full moon kayaking tour on the 'Strawberry Moon' summer solstice + full moon day, which also happened to fall on father's day. It was a wonderful way to spend time out in nature. Would highly recommend Vanessa, Spencer and Matt at Deep Cove Kayak rentals.

DCK accommodated us with boats of our choice from a selection of 20 or 30 models they had available.. After a brief safety talk, we loaded up for a bit over 2 hours on the water. Guides were friendly and helpful, sharing their knowledge about local sights, wildlife, and kayaking skills. Advanced skills are not required for this trip, but... More

This was a solo trip for me so I like to try to do a few group activities when the opportunity is there. Although there is a group that offers kayak tours off of the coast in Vancouver, I thought Deep Cove might be a little more scenic. It did not disappoint. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. One... More
