This local landmark is great way to see the city and ocean year around. Pick a clear day and it's worth the trip even if not skiing but the view coming down the cut as the lights are coming on is incredible. Local skiing is not reliable can go from ice to slush throughout the day. Cypress has better conditions... More

We really enjoyed our ride up and down Grouse Mountain. The views were thrilling. We had walked the suspension bridges down below in the rain forest and then when we arrived at the top it was completely covered in snow. We really enjoyed the quick change of scenery.

The skyride is fast and safe but it is really expensive. Staff is really nice. It is fun but because of the price it is only 3 stars.

None of us are skiers, but we had a fabulous time up Grouse Mountain. Living where we do, near Windsor in England, it rarely snows. My twins are 8 years old and the last time it snowed for us was when they were 4. They have been desperate to go sledging for years and the sliding zone made all their... More

We took a free bus from the city centre of Vancouver to Capilano for the morning before heading up to Grouse Mountain. Once there there was a short wait for the skyride to the top. Definitely worth the wait of lining up. The car was large but also took a lot of people so try to stand near a window... More

If you want to get up Grouse Mountain you can do the Grouse Grind. A steep climb of over 850 meters which can take up to 2 hours. Someone did once do it at a record 25 minutes, he did have a grizzly bear behind him though! The Skyride is the easiest, most convenient but also more expensive than the... More

This is a quick way we'll the only way up the mountain and usually the cars are packed so if your going to take photos do so from the top or bottom and if you get a seat close to the windows in front going up or down.

A cable car all the way up the mountain, but for the adrenalin junky their is always a 'James Bond' style ride - on top of the cable car. great views both up and down, providing the fog leaves you alone.

Awesome place itself. Also good for the adventure u get! I was pleasantly surprised. You can see the beauty of the mountain during The way to the top. The gandolas are covered with glass and viewing is really easy. If u r visiting vancouver, spend a day here.
