You have to pay to park. You have to pay to enter. You then have to fight crowds of people hoping to find a vendor that has food, many were closed or offered a limited menu. I would not recommend this activity.

I felt like I was at the county fair, fried food galore! Some were interesting some were meh and some were pretty good. Overall though everything was expensive! The ATM machines were busy!

This will be our last visit to a once fun and reasonably priced venue with the whole family in previous years. This has now become way too expensive to take the whole family with individual entrance price of $8 for adults and vendor food pricing almost double from before Covid days! Not much new either in the way of attractions, but at least the food line ups were a lot less shorter than before LOL! Vendor pricing on mechandise items have also noticably increased as well. So if you are looking for an affordable fun time for the whole family you can scratch this off the list as we will be doing from now on.

I had high expectations and was completely disappointed. Many of the vendors were selling the same items, and there weren't interesting products in the first place. The venue was much smaller than I expected. Luckily we didn't have to wait in the VERY long line to get in. Give this one a pass.

My wife and I visited Vancouver with a small itinerary of things to do on a weekend. We read some mixed reviews of this activity but decided to check it out for ourselves. First, they charge an admission to get in to the gates. When you are through there are several kiosks with mostly cheap trinkets and some clothing. We went at dinner time, so our focus was on the food kiosks, just beyond the trinkets. There were a lot of options to choose from in the way of food. Nothing really jumped out as any quality food choice, but merely low quality carnival food. The only real good food option we had was the Poutine. It was at least felt like I was getting something for the price and was pretty tasty as well. We did try a few other kiosks, but at the end of the day, was not overly impressed. The atmosphere felt more like a Friday spot to take a date. I would have rather saved the trip and money and went to a nice restaurant. At least now we can say we went.

I was looking forward to attending after a lot of talk from friends and it was a so-so experience. There are a lot of booths for both food and items to purchase which is nice. The only thing is that there are a lot of repeats so you don’t really have access to a diversity of options.
They do only take cash, it says that some accept card but we didn’t see any cards used. The entrance is also cash only, they do have ATMs off to the side but just be prepared for a fee. It also would be nice to have more seating areas as they’re limited and mainly off to one small side.
Overall it was good to try but we probably wouldn’t be regulars if in the area.

This venue is popular but doesn't deserve to be. Asian food stalls are filled with junk fair food and terribly over-priced. Better to go to Aberdeen mall or Yaohan food fair where Asian eats are reasonably priced and better quality. The venue is in a terrible location with cheesy decor; has long line-ups for washrooms and ATM (only cash is accepted at most stalls and the ticket booth); construction blue fencing surrounds the gravel parking lot-turned-"fair." Won't be going again.

This is a Asian night market. It’s was very popular and busy if that’s your thing. The stalls were all for the hello kitty vibe.. not really my style but would recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic Asian food and hair clips , head bands etc
There I was a massive line to get in , we paid for the $35 zoom pass which allows 5 entries and there was no line

Update on Richmond night market April 28 to Oct 9 2023::::::::::::::::::::;took my girlfriend #2 on Sunday night to visit the place , she never been to any Asian night market , in U.K lot of farmer's market open in daytime , but not a night time , it is annual Asian night market held from end of April to October in Richmond B.C , Fri, Sat and Sun plus holiday general admission is $8 ( last year is $7 ) senior and Kids under 7 is free , lot of free parking , this year it sees more international vendor , lot of unique street food almost like last year , the food price so expensive , a family of four easily run you up to $300 or more my personal opinion is not worth the money , less over 3 times you pay in here and the same food item you can get it form any Richmond Food curt and lot cheaper and better fresh quality , but it is fun place to hang out for first time visit and tourist , not much to write about .

What is admission fee for adults and seniors? What time does Market open? How's parking situation and queue wait time? Thanks, Big Jim NYC

Big Jim,
It’s a night of waiting in lines. There is plenty of parking but it will take about 15 minutes to be directed to a spot. Then you buy the pass and wait in line. I waited about 5 minutes to get through the express line.
Then you basically walk around and wait for food. It will also get very crowded, so be prepared for longer waits as the evening progresses.

how can you get the fast pass?
ccriderYVR

They have people who are selling the at the entrance to the zoom pass line from the parking lot towards the right. So, once you park, look for the sign that says zoom pass, and the you will are volunteers selling them.
There is still a line up but with the pass, it goes faster as you don’t have to line up at the kiosk line where people are buying tickets.
The card has 6 entries, so if you have multiple people in your party, you can have up to 6 people on the same pass. They just punch the card for the number of passes used.
Hi does this market has Indian food too? Are there any food stalls which is safer for tree nut allergic people?

Yes, we saw one or two Indian food stalls. I wouldn't eat here if I had nuts allergies.

Is this cash only or do the vendors take plastic?
nononesense
Mukilteo, WA816 contributions
Most of the food stalls and games are cash only due to the crowds and long lines everywhere. However, some of the shop vendors take Visa, MC.

Fri, Sat, Sun: 7:00 pm to 12:00 am PST.
Get there early as the line can be really really, really long. Better to get the Express Pass wait inline but get in quite faster than the regular line. 28 bucks for 6 (6 ppl at one, or revisit until you hit all 6 times).
