Amazing architecture, beautiful landscaping and a tranquil place to meditate if you choose. I was taken aback by this gem in the middle of Richmond's hustle and bustle. Well worth the visit for gorgeous photo opportunities.

If visiting landmarks is your scene or looking for quiet meditation than a trip to this site is worth the visit. Plenty of parking. Easy wheelchair or walking access as there are temples to see with or without stairs and water fountains too. If you arrive before 3pm, the kitchen is open for vegetarian lunch everyday (if visiting check this... More

I can see this place will start loosing appeal to visit. They need more land, getting cramp there. You have a busy street on one side and tennis courts on the other; car noises and shouting/smashing balls on the other.

Temple is busy on special dates and during the lunar new year. Otherwise it's best to go on a weekday when it's not as busy. Vegetarian meals in the tiny restaurant are good...it's kinda hidden in the back of the temple.

What a lovely peaceful place to visit. Very informative information while speaking to some of the people there. Beautiful buildings and seeing the temple inside was beautiful. I'm glad we took the time to find it

If you're interested in Buddhism, you'll enjoy this venue. The gardens are lovely, and the Seven Buddha Mural, 85 feet long, is the largest of its kind in the world. Opposite the colorful mural is the Ten Thousand Hand Ten Thousand Eye Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. Photography is not allowed, so I'm not able to include photos, but there are photos in... More

This Buddhist Temple is the largest in the Vancouver area with just quiet walk through at your own pace and some scheduled guided tours you have to check times for. Many oriental statues and gardens.

As a first time visitor to the Buddhist Temple, I found this place enriching & peaceful to oneself. Easy access from the main highway & Richmond BC. It had beautiful & colorful buildings all throughout the compound & a pond too. Considerably Quiet being the location from the main road. A place of worship & enlightment ... one to expect.... More

One minute you are driving down a major road in Richmond and the next minute you are transported to Asia when you enter the atmospheric gates of this temple. Its beautifully done and so detailed that it reminds me of my time in China. I love that. If you need a break from the craziness of the world, come here.... More
