The waterfall "Probiy" is a visitccard of Yaremche. If you take a tour to Yaremche, thetour operator for sure will bring you to the waterfall. If you come by car to Yaremche, you will go for sure to the open-space market with souvenirs that is situated on both sides of th bridge across the waterfall. So, all the ways in Yaremche brings you to the waterfall.

There is a nice cafe "Probiy" situated near the waterfall with a marvelous view on the waterfall. It is a little bit old-fashioned but the view is worth going there.

Unusually beautiful place especially when the golden autumn. Stunning view from the bridge. You can go down to the rocks and from there to take the beautiful photos too.

Quite a nice waterfall with a bridge over the top of the river. Lots of places for nice photos. Waterfall is only about 5m high.
There is a zipline and a small bungee jump over the river for those brave enough.
There are steps down to the water's edge, however, these are not entirely safe. The mud surrounding the steps, especially on a wet day, very slippery.

A great place for pictures. A nice market around it. Best prices for real Ukrainian souvenirs. You can also buy local honey here

This is a waterfall..... surrounded by vendors. It combines the best elements of travel - nature, people, cultures clashing, and a good souvenir selection. You will certainly end up getting into people's unapologetic selfies. A majority of these people are attempting to make the waterfall look like it is in a secluded area, let them mislead their friends. I will not mislead you.
Other than the beauty of the waterfall itself, the most surprising thing about the visit was that the train track that separates the parking from the waterfall - is active. We joked with our kids as we crossed the train track that we should look both ways... minutes later, a train zoomed by this unguarded crossing.
If coming from the side of the falls with the train tracks (we can call it the wrong side here), cross over to the other side (use the handrails on the wooden steps) - the souvenir selection was better on this side. Here you can get leather bags, dried fruit, sheepskin gloves and hand embroidered folk shirts.
You can come here when the weather is not so great and go from shop to shop, or come when the weather is great and go from shop to shop.

Breath taking views, enchanting sounds and a LOT of people! After making your way through the typical Ukrainian souvenir kiosks, you arrive at an amazing view of the waterfalls. During peal season, waiting for unobstructed photo opportunities takes a lot of patience.

Probiy Waterfall is a short distance from the centre of Yaremche, parhaps just over 1km. It's an easy walk. The waterfall is more like a cascade. There's not much fall. However the valley is pretty and you can certainly get some very scenic photos.

There are a couple of bridges where you can cross the river. At the bridge right at the 'waterfall', there is a large souvenir market on both sides of the river. Like most markets of its type, there is a large amount of rubbish on offer. Many stalls sell exactly the same items. A feature of this hutsal region of Ukraine is the fine embroidery, and there is plenty of this available at this market. The quality of fabrics and workmanship is variable, so my advice is to do lots of comparison shopping.

For Western tourists especially, Ukraine is cheap. However I found prices in this market to be quite a bit higher than I expected. For similar items (like souvenir frig magnets), markets in Kiev were much less expensive.

Although I visited in very late October, there was still a fair bid of colour in the forests. Apart from the area of the market, the scenery was very pleasant.

The view of the waterfalls was beautiful. Quick moving, several steps. Beware of people who hand you hawks, they put them on you and immediately demand money. Tourist bait. The shops nearby are nice. I got a very nice wool blanket that while extremely itchy is just beautiful.

The waterfall isn't anything special. Honestly it has two steps both one meter high. The real fuss is about market around waterfall. The bridge on the river is very narrow and crowded. In the market you can find 3 types of stands: expensive and poor quality toys, national Ukrainian clothes and natural cosmetics.
