I brought my girlfriend from the US to the Cominium Vineyard on a stunning sunny November day. Maria welcomed us with so much grace and a big smile. Surrounded by the stunning mountains and villages of the Val di Comino, we learned so much about their wine (red, white and prosecco), extra virgin olive oil and the history of the vineyard. My favorite was the Atina Cabernet Reserve, an impressive red wine that tasted perfectly with the goat cheese that Maria served us! An amazing experience in the heart of Ciociaria. I'm from this region and I was so amused about how stunning the whole experience was!

Dropped into this gem unannounced with 15 friends during the height of the harvest this past October. Although most other wineries would have turned us away, Armando and Maria threw open their doors with an outstanding tour, a bountiful spread of cheeses, meats and breads and great conversation. Needless to say many cases of wine, olive oil and grappa were shipped home. One of the best experiences of our time in Ciociaria.

What can we say... we loved our experience so much we are telling everyone about it! Armando was so accommodating and welcoming, generous and friendly, he was so nice to chat to and just so hospitable! We thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the local history and how the wine is all made. He showed us a private tour of the vineyard and then took us back to his family home where we tried various different wines, some grappa and some DELICIOUS bread, home made olive oil, salami, cheeses etc. There was such a generous portion of food & wine. We felt so comfortable and at ease there and we were so amazed by the hospitality! Thank you so much for an amazing experience that we are telling all our friends & family about, we will be coming back for sure next year with our families as well! We liked the wine so much as well that we bought three bottles to take home with us... thanks again and hopefully see you soon! Love from Patrick and Lucia :)

We had a group of 8 of us in town for a wedding and decided to try and squeeze in a last minute trip to the winery. The only time we were available was after hours...Armando and Maria went above and beyond and arranged a private tour for us when they normally would have been closed. Armando gave us a tour that was so much more than expected, his knowledge of wine and history is unmatched! The views were breathtaking, the wine was amazing, the food was to die for, and the hospitality from Armando and Maria was the cherry on top! If you are in the area, you MUST go visit and do a tasting.

Since I became a big fan of Cominium Wine, I decided to visit the winery! This company founded from the Pinto and Cosenza’s family, owns almost 24 hectars of land where they produce biological wine and oil of olives. We were hosted from the owner Maria Pinto, she gave us a nice tour of the wineyards and of the Cellar which is located into a rural building from 1800s, were we also had a wine tasting of the delicious: -Satur (cabernet sauvignon) -Riserva -Maturano She was so kind to prepare for us also an amazing lunch with typical products from the Cominium area. We will definetly go back!
