We were totally blown away by these gardens. It has been so well designed with nice paths, some wild bits, some kids bits and loads of information dotted around. We were also fortunate enough to see the Sculpture trail which was excellent. A lovely lady at information arranged a mobility scooter for one of our party which enabled us to... More

Enjoyed our visit to the Botanic Gardens. Parking was quite full though and signage could have been better. The playground was mystical and great fun.

We loved the gardens, it's a huge place with different kinds of environment, from native forest to rose garden, with lawns, benches, paths and bridges, you could just spend your whole day there! And in the back there's an exit to a nature park to extend your walk. And it's free!

We had three generations with us. Grandparents, parents and children, 8 to 13. We all thought it was about the most boring and unattractive botanic garden we'd ever seen. It's big. And it's free, even the parking. But it's just not worth the trip. It's not that we don't like gardens. We just didn't like this one. The sculptures didn't... More

The gardens are well worth visiting and until March they have the annual sculpture show in addition to the permanent works on display.

A beautiful neat place for a nice stroll even with dogs. There are off leash areas at the far end of the garden as this is a huge garden. The café serves excellent food. My favourite is their creamy mushrooms. Every year, the garden has sculpture displays (happening now). And free Elvis in the Park happening soon ! A must... More

Lovely wide paths lead you around these extensive and well-planned areas including beautiful rose beds, native trees, an extensive veggie and soft fruit area and great children's garden with flowering cacti, all set in a huge area of parkland, so give yourselves a full day if possible to see as much of the grounds as possible. Coupled with the permanent... More
