I contacted Flexi Tours with a vague idea of wanting a some transport for a wine tour for a small group of people for an engagement party. I didn't really know what I wanted but Philippa quickly got back to me with some great ideas and itineraries.
What started as "visiting a few wineries with a small group" turned over the weeks into a large group and a thoughtfully planned out day of wine tasting, lunch and a behind the scenes tour.
Philippa was extremely patient with me even as I asked millions of questions and kept adding more numbers to the group (which mean constantly changing vehicle sizes). She even had a back up plan in case of anymore Covid alert level changes (which was very important to us as we'd had lots of last minute cancellations this year).
The resulting day went off without a hitch. I was able to completely relax knowing that everything was taken care of. We ended up having over 20 people from ages 20's to 60's who have all contacted me afterward to say what an amazing day they had.
Our engagement party was more than I had imagined it could ever be when I first got in contact with Flexi Tours. We are really going to cherish our memories forever.
2020 has been a challenging year and this was honestly the highlight for me. A perfect day of wine tasting, family friends and fun where everyone was entertained and could relax.
Highly recommend this company and Philippa.

We were two families, 4adults and4 teenagers, and had limited time when we visited Auckland. We decided to book with FlexitursNZ three attractions on one day. We were extremely lucky to have Mr. Kelley as our tour guide as he is extremely knowledgeable. He is very organized and punctual. He not only informed us about the three places we visited but also he answered most of our questions about New Zealand. This day trip was truly a fun and enjoyable experience.
We all would highly recommend it but would suggest to visit Rotorua on a separate day and spend more time there.

Visited Auckland inbetween COVID lockdowns and border closures May 2021 and felt like the first Australian tourist back in through gate. Tried booking multiple tours with other companies who kept declining my requests to join tours due to low numbers.
I was given the advice by one of the cancelling companies to call Philippa at FlexiToursNZ to help me out and it was the best advice I could have been given.
Philippa not only got me onto a couple of tour bus experiences to tourist attractions but arranged a bespoke wine tour for me that included a special annex off to a delicious oyster experience. At times I was the only person on the minibus, sometimes with other people and the guides were extremely accommodating, friendly and flexible.
5 star coordination, fun tours arranged and everyone involved went above and beyond to make my holiday really special.

I highly recommend this tour company. I did my research and was in contact with the company prior to booking. The response back to me was very quick via email answering all my questions.
We booked this tour company as you could pick and choose different things to do and see. The other company did not offer this flexibility
The tour guide Rick and Darryl were very informative and provided us with great knowledge of each area. It’s a small tour so only 9 people which was perfect!
We did the Waitomo, Rotorua + Polynesian Spa.
It was a long day though it was a great way to see what we wanted to see.

I write this review with disappointment given the cost of our tour versus the overall experience. My wife made the booking for 2 couples via the Queens Arcade office manned by one very casual person who was not very professional. We were promised an email to confirm our booking, this did not arrive. My wife rang to follow up and this was sent with the wrong pick up address. Another phone call to fix up. Pick up was punctual. The seats in the van were very uncomfortable sloping too far back so you could not sit comfortably at all. Our tour was originally to be 2 notable sites plus steam pools and a treewalk. The night before our tour my wife was called to advise due to changes in 2 of the tours times the tree walk was cancelled and we would be refunded this cost. The next day we soon worked out why our tree walk was cancelled as we had two passengers who needed to be connected to another tour in Cambridge thus time was lost. Tour driver Rebecca was the sole operator so little commentary was provided, there were landmarks we saw but heard nothing about. The steam pools we had a limited 20 minutes and could not more extensively explore. Currently, despite 2 phone calls, I am still waiting our refund for the treetop walk. We drove past the forest but because the tour included a courier service for other tours we did no more than look and this was never conveyed to us and is just not acceptable.

As you paid in our office we need your credit card details to refund you - Please call and ask for Philippa - We do not have a record of your card number to issue the refund. - It has been reported that after my answer you contacted our office gave us a way to refund you and you were immediately refunded.
THe person who served you had been with company for one week - so I apologize if she was unsure of what she was doing and also they have taken your phone calls - not me and did not realise that she needed the numbers to be able to refund

Philippa was amazing. She went above and beyond to help my American cousins get from Hamilton to Hobbiton and then back to Auckland after their rental car was cancelled.
I couldn't recommend this company more highly and will advise all my visiting relatives to use them.

I did a three day tour with Flexitour and I was so impressed with how they handled all the logistics and transfers for me. It made the experience such a delight. They were very accommodating allowing me to end my tour in Rotorua instead of Auckland as I was continuing further south for the remainder of my trip. I would highly recommend this Company, especially if you don't plan to rent a car.

The customer service of FlexiTours is unparalleled. We had a lost bag at the airport in Auckland and had to miss half of a days tour to be at the airport to get the bag, our tour ended in Rotorua so it would not have been an easy airline baggage delivery. FlexiTours coordinator personally called me and arranged a different driver specifically for us to be able to finish the rest of the day tour AND an additional driver to deliver us to Rotorua after the cave tour. He was also not informed we had a large bicycle bag and accommodated us with last minute larger vehicle upgrade. All of this was done… ON CHRISTMAS EVE!!! The drivers arranged were great, the vehicles on time and perfect for what we needed, all at last minute. I had to pay a few small fees to accommodate the holiday last minute changes but I can tell the company did not profit from this above-and-beyond service, they just did it because of amazing quality care and understanding when clients run into issues. The tour itself (black water rafting) was so insanely cool and I highly recommend that too. All around compliments and thanks to this company helping what could have been a very stressful situation turn into a wonderful experience to start our holiday!

I booked several custom tours with Flexitours for myself and husband. We wanted to see a lot of the attractions are a slower pace.
Philipa was absolutely amazing. She arranged each of our days specifically for us! Phillipa was very informative and offered great advice on where and when to see attractions. Phillipa was very quick to respond via WhatsApp. It felt like I had a private tour again.
Throughout our time in New Zealand, we had 6 tours either directly with Flexitours or booked for us by Phillipa.
Andy was our personal driver for 2 of the days. He was fantastic! He was knowledgeable and a great guide. So glad he was our driver twice!
The other tours were well orchestrated. Phillipa was very accommodating (and flexible 🤣) when we wanted to change our itinerary slightly.
Our trip to New Zealand was exceptional!!

FlexiTour help me to organize an 8 days trip to South island with two familys, total 8 people. They plan and book all accommodation, fly tickets,rental car, activity for us. the plan was perfect, save us lots of time and money. Thank you and well done!

When you came to see me I was happy to help you plan your trip and a couple of simple ideas immediately reduced the overall price by about $2000 . I know you were thrilled and also happy that any commission you paid went to a New Zealand based operator.

We have a tour inside Rotorua which gives a lot more than the 1.5 hours inside Rotorua included in the HF3
Can you tell me when you are planning to travel so I can give you correct prices. Our vehicles seat 9 - 15 people.

Hi we have time ( normally 20 - 30 minutes ) before we go on the tour - but if you need more time to shop Hobbiton have a shop in Rotorua and we definitely would have time to visit here if you needed to do more shopping.

My son and his girlfriend are coming to the North Island. They are wanting to go to Hobbiton and do the black water rafting at Waitomo. They could either do this coming up from Auckland on the 29th or from Rotorua on the 30th. Obviously they are on a budget so any advice much appreciated.

My advise would be to go to Hobbiton on the way down from Auckland and then the next day to travel from Rotorua to go Blackwater rafting
