- Deanosaur89Edmonton, Canada1,990 contributionsGreat Sporting VenueWe enjoyed the World Cup match here for Vietnam vs. USA. The venue is clean and the concessions are well organized and quick. If you see a line for a bathroom or concession you can walk another 20 feet and find one that isn't. The staff are superb here and very approachable. The way they handled the crowds was impressive and we felt very safe while here. Getting here is easy and they had exclusive free transit running between Britomart and Kingsford stations with the train before and after the match we attended. One tip for this venue is that if the ticket says obstructed view, they mean it. We bought with the obstructed view in section 321 because it was cheap but we were behind the player benches and our seats were right beside the player tunnel! We hope to be back one day for a rugby match!Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 21, 2023
- Janet MDenver, Colorado118 contributionsEnjoyed a Rugby Game at the Eden Park stadiumWe wanted to take in the NZ National sport of Rugby, so went to Eden Park to watch the Auckland 'Blues' plat a game. The stadium was easy to navigate, the concessions and bathrooms were fine. It was a beautiful evening and we all had a terrific time. Parking was difficult as we drove and didn't get there very early to find a place. We did not do a tour.Thank you for coming to Eden Park! Next time come and take a tour with us.Written March 8, 2020This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited February 2020Written March 7, 2020

- Wendy W1 contributionBilly Joel Eden Park , Auckland 3 Dec 22Went to the Billy Joel concert 3 December, terrible sound quality and some songs were unintelligible couldn’t hear the words, the echoing was like a bad school PA system. All the stadium should of been checked for sound distribution. Seemed to be the lower range was the worse. Not Billy Joel’s fault just the venue didn’t come up to a good standard so that everyone had a good experience.Visited December 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten December 3, 2022

Saw the lions v the blues in Eden park which had a fantastic atmosphere. Food was good for stadium food an the only downside was the lions lost. Great venue though!

We took a tour of the stadium, and it was awesome. Including the upper grandstands, coaches box, All Blacks home change rooms and the players' race onto the field.
If you're an All Blacks fan, or a rugby fan at all, it's definitely worth seeing behind the scenes and getting to see the stadium from a perspective you'd never normally see.
Make sure your camera is charged and your selfie stick is in your bag because you'll want to take lots of snaps throughout the tour.

Second time at the home of the All Blacks. Modernised since last visit in 2011.. Very good access and facilities. Catering outlets worked smoothly and efficiently. Toilets very clean. Comfortable seat with great views. First time here my team lost. This time it was a win.. Funny thing though. Twice at Eden park and both times ;the 'special train service' broke down on way back to Auckland. Come on NZ rail. Get your act together.

I would love to take a tour of the stadium Sunday 22nd December.
I know its ages away but I want to have it all booked.
Do you know if there will be a game then? Etc.
Thanks!

Hi, we are about booking tickets for Eden Park - which seats are better - row J / K / Z or the AA / BB/ CC (are they closer to the field) ? Thank you :)

Is parking available at Eden park on game day. I will be visiting for the Blues v Brumbies game this week with my kids and wanted to drive to the game so I had the option of leaving early if needed. Is parking clearly signposted and does it cost?

When I went to the game, I went by train. Public transport only to stadium.
