We have not visited this battery before so it is another interesting piece in the jigsaw of the German defences from the period of occupation.
Some great views along the cliffs and over 5 mile bay.
Well worth the visit.
Interesting but a stark reminder of how things were back during the war. The whole coast is heavily fortified with concrete bunkers, gun emplacements etc.

This site is both surface and underground, so ideally visit when bunker is opened up by the CIOS. However, if your in the area, some fortifications can be easily accessed anytime. Great re-constructions and artefacts from the period, showing technical details and atmospheric conditions.
