In Early June of 2016 we had the pleasure of being guided across the D-day theater with Trevor's American D-day Tours. Trevor picked us up right on time from the entrance of our hotel in Bayeux. We were a party of 2 kids (8 & 10), 2 parents and 2 grandparents and were very comfortable in the van with access... More

Trevor is a great story teller, not just a reciter of the facts. He had stories of individual veterans to share from both Omaha and Juno Beach. His recount of their experiences along with his knowledge of the battle plan made our visit so much more meaningful. Trevor was waiting when our train arrived from Paris and had us back... More

As the daughter of a WWII combat veteran, I knew that I wanted to understand not only the details of D-Day, but to hear the stories about the bravery of our soldiers. Trevor has meet with and guided many veteran's and their families as they have returned to the D-Day beaches. He incorporates their personal stories into the tour locations... More

My wife and I spent an amazing day with Trevor in May 2016. The tour was second to none. My only regret is that I only had one day to spend on the tour. Trevor's duel background as both an American and a French citizen whose family lived in this area during the war provides an exceptional means to experience... More

Great tour for myself and my son. with our excellent tour guide, Trevor. Wonderful to have a private tour with only the 3 of us. Trevor is very knowledgeable and passionate and knows his stuff. We enjoyed our day and highly recommend Trevor.

My wife and I booked an ocean cruise on the new Viking Sea. When our excursion options opened for Cherbourg, we were unable to book the Omaha Beach, American Cemetery Tour. I decided to look for alternatives and found Trevor Standefer, owner of American D-day Tours. He was very responsive, and we had several e-mail, txts and one confirming phone... More

Trevor really knows his stuff. He is both entertaining and informative. There wasn't a question that he couldn't answer and he gave us all lots to think about from what happened on those beaches. This was worth every Euro we paid for it and then some. Great lunch, also.

This tour was the best we have had. Trevor takes his time and makes sure you understand all the facts. This tour was worth every Euro. We saw hedgerows, Ponte du Hoc, Utah, Omaha beaches, the American cemetery and St Mere Eglise all in 8 hours. The sandwiches and apple tarts were delicious. I would recommend this tour to anybody... This tour was just outstanding -- Trevor is a real professional with research based historical facts that really make this tour great. He also provides the emotional story telling so you don't leave without understanding the ultimate sacrifice that our greatest generation made on June 6, 1944. I am coming back to Normandy some day and I will seek out... More

Anyone lucky enough to visit Normandy will never forget this experience. This is where our troops entered to fight the Germans and we lost many Americans. The cemetary is such a time of mourning yet celebration because I am so proud to be an American and definitely honor these troops for fighting for our country. Standing on the beach near... More
