Cross the famous Avenue de Champagne of Epernay called the most expensive Avenue in the World with its 200 million bottles in cellars, wander through the villages classified at the highest of the Champagne appellation and in front of exceptional sites such as Chateau de Saran, the ultra private property where LVMH receives its biggest customers and VIPs ...<br>Visit families of producers and taste many 100% Grand cru Champagnes (min.6) : natural champagne with no dosage, old vines, vintages, aged in oak barrels...<br>And that without forgetting to thank Dom Pérignon in the church of the renowned village of Hautvillers called the "Champagne cradle" where he rests.<br>We will not fail to stop on the hillsides classified as World Heritage by Unesco, in one of the most beautiful panoramic views, and where Dom Pérignon has carried out his experiments, to taste other famous drinks such as Ratafia, Fine of Marne and Marc of Champagne...<br>Believe me, you will be an expert in Champagne after this tour !

Fabulous visit to an unpretentious house with a spectacular view. We opted for the vineyard tour over the caves (as we had already seen plenty) and were rewarded with a fascinating and informative overview of champagne viticulture. The champagnes are excellent, especially the 555, and nicely priced. Cheers!

We discovered this champagne many years ago and visit it every time we are in the area.It is not fussy or pretentious in any way but a family run business where they let their wines speak for themselves. Everyone has different tastes and there is a full range of different champagnes to suit most of them so that we now have quite a collection at home, All the family are very helpful and friendly and their position on the edge of Cramant overlooking some of the slopes of the Cote des Blancs is wonderful

We were brought to this lovely village as part of a champagne tour. We returned the next day and were warmly greeted and tasted again, confirming which blend we preferred.

We spent last week touring the region during which time we visited eight houses in the region. We had booked the €80 tour but were offered a free tasting if we didn't want the full tour. Having decided to go ahead with the tour we were taken into a vineyard and given a very in depth explanation of the pruning, harvesting and phylloxera prevention. We were then taken into cellars where the fermentation and blending were explained. Our host Alice went much further into not only the production but the culture and relationships between the different houses. If you are interested in getting deeper into the process than the tours offered by the bigger houses this tour is a must. Oh yes forgot to mention the champagne is excellent too!

We had a tour at a large Champagne house and one at Voirin Jumel booked in one day, however, due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel one. SO incredibly happy we stuck with a visit to Champagne Voirin Jumel. Even though we arrived late, Alice was still willing to give us a full tour: She taught us the basics about champagne: the grapes, what's involved in growing them, the regulations, the infrastructure required, the culture, and so much more. She took us to see the grapes and the facility, answered all our questions, allowed us to try a couple of champagnes. We never felt rushed, despite arriving almost an hour late. She is clearly passionate about her work and it made the tour that much more enjoyable and intimate. Found this Champagne house and booked the tour on vinizos.com. Glad I did, was a highlight of our trip in France.
