This is an absolute gem of a beach. quite possibly the most scenic I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying and it's practically deserted. we are a family of 4 and only saw 6 other people for the entirety of our stay. a long long stretch of golden sand and beautifully inviting clear blue water to swim in - just delightful

Visited Golden beach in June 2107. All the beachside huts for accommodation have been closed down by the authorities.
Teko's , Burnham's and Hassan's.
So no food , drinks or accommodation on the beach for the foreseeable future. All that you can get is umbellas and plastic sun beds. The beach itself remains as beautiful as ever... crystal clear water.

It is little bit far away from Girne city. From Girne to Karpaz beach it was take around 2 and half hrs by car. There is not possible to reach Karpaz by public transportation.
2017 Teko and Burhan's bungalows no longer in service.
Beach is quite long and deserted. There is no any facilities around beach. So take your supplies (water, umbrella etc.) There is a sign post inform nude sunbathers can be seen beyond this point at the entrance of beach. But nudist commonly use north end of beach. Beach is excellent and sandy.

The best point for one day road trip with car. If You have enough of crowded Girne (Kyrenia) - go to Karpas peninsula. Just sea, sun and sand. Very peaceful and beautiful part of Cyprus! It's not so close, but road is new and not much traffic on it.

Long and naturally nice beach protected for turtles reproduction, but wasted by rubbish as from tourists as sea tiding. No trees, no shadow. A few challet restaurants / bars with identically dirty soroundings.

An exact definition of this place is that "the heaven". Really quiet, natural, unspoilt, nudist friendly and very secure location, where you can find freedom and piece.
However, a rumor has it that a five star hotel will be built somewhere around Burhan's Golden Beach -- which really worries locals and nature lovers.

Only the sun or the moon and her stars, only the sound of waves and wild donkeys braying from time to time, you can enjoy the hot sun or the cool sea breeze after a hot sunny day and during the night if you waking up at any time you will be shocked by the beauty of a bay that turtles have chosen as a base to lay their eggs ... this is enough for someone to feel in heaven ... I do not need anything else. I make a reference to the presence of garbage on the beach, for the most part it is not things left by visitors to the Golden Beach, but what the sea during storms, returns ... it is very sad and all of us should reflect about... which that we throw away without civilization somehow, always comes back ...

Whats not to like. Not a concrete building in sight. Clear seas and nice sand. Take an unbrella - you will not be able to rent one.

A fantastic beach spoilt by mindless people. The beach was filthy with litter left everywhere especially in the car park where yhd bins seemed to have been tipped on their sides.
Considering this beach provides nesting for loggerhead turtles you would thing people would be far more respectful.
Broken loungers left scattered along the shore.
Nature at its best ruined by man

The fact that it is far from everything is not really a problem. Indeed, it might be good for the place. At the end of March we were here on a windy day. Apart from us, I counted 5 more people on the very long beach.
This place is a famous place for laying turtles. I hope the visitors will respect the rules for their protection during the summer.

What is the weather like first two weeks of November thank you
Written July 21, 2019
Should be about 15 degrees. This is considered to be cold for the natives, you should wear a jacket, it could be a bit windy

Actually I haven't noticed any of them, but I would guess there are many mosquitos there (in summer)
