Being locals it's always exciting when something new comes to town to bring a new experience. Tahoe amore brings the romance of Italy to beautiful Tahoe and allows you to take in the spectacular views. We went as a double date with great friends to celebrate an engagement and had a great time complete with wine and cheese! This would be great for so many other events as well. I'm glad I have a great romantic, peaceful, and relaxing activity to suggest for friends and family when they come into town. And to top it off Drew's friendly and inviting personality will keep you entertained as he guides you around. You have to do this when you go to Tahoe!

Great time! We really enjoyed the peaceful row around the keys, the swimming muskrat nearby, the gorgeous mountain backdrop, the romantic music playing softly in the background, and the serene sunset approaching. We highly recommend this for a beautiful and romantic activity on the lake.

Chris did a great job entertaining and informing us about the beautiful local surroundings, before he slipped the Message in a Bottle into the water for my girlfriend to find.
As she opened it and read the message I slipped to one knee and proposed to her.
It was a magical trip and one that will bring out the Amore in you when you go!
We highly recommend it!!!

There was no corkage fee and they had an arrangement for cups and a bucket of ice. The gondolier was friendly and played Sinatra which was fun. But the disappointing part was that the ride was only within the Marina. The gondola is not safe to go into the lake and we didn't go out there due to winds. If you want to cruise the lake the Gondola ride is not for you. Paying 50 bucks per head just to cruise the Marina was a bit much.

Hey guys glad you had a fun time! Curious as why you said it was misleading though- the first sentence of every description is "...enjoy a cruise through the Tahoe Keys Marina"
To be able to enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness of the Gondola and Gondolier rowing you, you wouldn't want to be in the choppy waves and wind Lake Tahoe provides. Our apologies if the Marina part didn't resonate, but just reassuring you we advertised the phase "Tahoe Keys Marina" multiple times.

Delightful, simple and unique experience. We enjoyed learning about our gondola and fun facts about Tahoe from our gondolier, Chris. It's a short glide through the marina area canal and briefly onto the lake. We did a 4pm ride, which was nice. We'd probably do it again with another couple, perhaps even with two other couples in another gondola. Note, the "glasses" provided are plastic drink cups. You may want to bring your own.

We had a great experience. We did the gondola ride as a family with our two boys. It was such a unique experience. We got there and jumped right into our gondola with our gondolier Alec. He was very personable and talkative. We all enjoyed Alec’s comments, jokes and the information he shared with us about the area. Even though the ride was through the marina, we had great views of the mountains and the colors in the sky at sunset were magnificent. We highly recommend doing the sunset ride. So glad I booked this gondola ride at Lake Tahoe!!

My wife and I spent the weekend in Lake Tahoe to celebrate our anniversary, While doing some research I discovered Tahoe Amore. So, I thought my wife might enjoy a scenic and romantic gondola ride so I set an appointment…7:00 PM so we would see the sunset…and paid for it. So, we arrived a few minutes early and just about 7:00, Drew arrives in the gondola with his previous customers. The Italian Gondola is very nice and comfortable. He has blankets if you get cold and you can take wine or champagne or whatever you are in the mood for. Drew has a great personality and gives you the history of gondolas and a little about Lake Tahoe. He has nice music playing. It is all very relaxing. We cruised around some of the canals in Tahoe Keys and then just in time for an incredible sunset, headed us out to the lake. He can't spend too much time actually on the lake because of traffic, choppy waters and wind, but it really doesn't matter. It was very relaxing, very romantic and very scenic!

We had perfect weather (no wind & just the right amount of sun), which made for a very nice gondola experience. Enjoyed the sights in the habor and the smooth water of South Lake Tahoe. Enjoyed the romantic experience with my wife. This was something that we have not done before, but will definetly do again.

Very awesome experience. The gondolier was very nice and had lots of great facts to tell us about the lake and gondola rides in general. The only thing that could have been better is if they had someone there to greet us while he was out on the lake with his other couple. We just kinda had to stand there and wait and wonder if they were missing or just out on the water until we called and they explained this to us. Views were great!

Hey there! Owner of the company here. Glad you guys had a blast! Much apologies for not having someone to greet you- short staffed unfortunately. Next time you guys are visiting Tahoe definitely give us a call- I am really striving for putting out a 5 star quality experience, and would love to try and have you upgrade that review : ) Enjoy the rest of your vacation and if you guys took any pictures definitely send them our way- I love re-posting what the customers get to see.

It's important to realize that this business provides Venetian Gondola rides through the Tahoe Keys area (on an actual boat shipped from Venice and reassembled locally, at least in our case). It's not about a "people mover" that hauls skiiers up a mountain.
I highly recommend this excursion, and we got the owner (Drew, I think), who I would characterize as 100% sincere and friendly. He was interesting, and more importantly, interested in ensuring that we were having a good time. It kinda warms my heart to see someone trying hard to serve his customers, and I really hope it pays off for him and his team.
We did the sunset cruise on calm water (essentially gliding around, peacefully), with the sun lingering beautifully behind the mountains, mostly clear skies, and a full moon... What's not to like?

Do the gondolas talk, like, a LOT? Do they ever give you privacy? Am I going to be proposing to my partner and all of a sudden comes "To your left, you'll see a rock formation carved in 1882 blah blah blah?" Looks romantic but worried it's more like The Gondolier Show.

The gondoliers definitely do talk, but if you want something unique where he’s keeping to himself call ahead and tell your plan.
It’s definitely not cheesy- bring as much wine/champagne as you’d like - cups, music, and blankets are provided

Talked about this with our gondolier. We went in late September and the temperature was practically close to freezing already around then. My guess is it'll be snow season already around late Oct-early November and they won't be open

The pricing was very reasonable! It was a full houri on the water, he was right on schedule and there are a lot of choices in times throughout the day! Go enjoy!
