M.S Dixie II Sunset Dinner Cruise

262 reviews
Watch the sun slip behind the mountains on a Lake Tahoe dinner cruise aboard the M.S. Dixie II, and enjoy champagne, live music and an elegant dinner on the water. Dance to tunes from the local Steve Walker Band, see a spectacular Sierra sunset, then sit down for a freshly prepared meal. Enjoy selections like grass-fed beef or trout, organic greens, and vegetables. Finish the evening with fresh berries and cake as the first stars appear above the peaks, and Lake Tahoe’s scenic shoreline is illuminated.

My family of 5 ages ,3, 6 7 Mommy and Papi arrived right at 11 a.m. and were quickly greeted by Nicki, the owner. We opted for the 27 hole course and it didn't disappoint. The facilities were clean and from my understanding will be celebrating 50 years in business. Overall the experience was absolutely pleasant. Thank you Nicky, (Louis V. And Benjamin her 4-legged "employees"). You helped our family enjoy a wonderful South Lake Tahoe Day.

Played two of three courses over two days. Really enjoyed golf. Appears to be a family operation. Would say that facility is showing a little wear, but I'm sure under current circumstances that they could use more business. Staff did a good job of keeping "separation" by either telling us to start a hole 4 (so that we'd be in front of the party of 6 that had just started), and putting us on a course that was currently unused (vice the other with a couple of families already). They do play a game at the end where you have a chance to win a "free game" which we used on our second visit (to play a different course).

We had fun on one of the 3 courses there. The biggest one is a bit too long for younger kids. Lots of family fun.

Ten of us from three families visited this place on long weekend to realize that it was best time we spent during our weekend. Place offers not only mini golf holes but interesting structures for kids to keep them excited. level of difficulty differ in various games.

Three generations played here and had such fun. We did the 28 holes, and found each hole fun and challenging. It was the first time we had played with our grandson. It’s a great activity for the family to do together.
