This is a perfect place to bring a novice at skiing and heights. The Gondola ride is easy and safe. Your enclosed all around. The snow was whiter than white and the sky Never Ending lay Blue. The view of Lake Tahoe was breathtaking-We forget What Beauty is Around Us. From Above You See It All.? .There's a Viewing platform... More

Without trekking up the mountain you can enjoy a magnificent view and be educated about the area with the signs on the railing.

Don't wait until the last day of your trip. Go on the first or second day to the Heavenly Gondola ride. It is fun and the views are spectacular. The best thing that you can do in Tahoe. I would have done it twice if I had had one more day in town.

The ticket is a bit pricy considering that once you get to the top you need to pay another admission for other activities (e.g. Zip-lining) but the view is really awesome

We did this very spontaneously, and was so glad we did. We were just going to take the gondola and then saw the activities they offered at the top of the mountain. This is their Summer Adventures. We had a blast. Got the wrist band to experience it all. Roller coaster, tubing, rope climbing, rock climbing, zip lining. Zip lining... More

We had a really good time taking the Gondola up and enjoying the fun on top of Heavenly. Bring sunscreen, a sweatshirt, hat n walking shoes. The view is gorgeous. It's actually a bit intimidating coming back down the mountain. But you can get some amazing pictures. The cafeteria has pretty good choices of food. They are pretty pricey, but... More

We had some in our group who were nervous to ride the gondola because of the height. They overcame their fears and were so happy they did. The views are incredible and unsurpassed in this area. At the end of the gondola ride you are placed into a small little valley that is filled with a variety of fun things... More
