Unless you have nothing but time, use another company. I rent boats during most of my vacations, and have never experienced such a hassle or such poorly maintained boats. It took an hour to complete rental agreement and wait for a boat to be prepped. Then a deck hand takes the boat out of the harbor, and is picked up... More

Very convenient location and lots of boats for rent. The office staff could have been a bit more helpful, especially when settling up the bill. Check the wind conditions out on the lake before you decide to rent. We went out on a small boat on a really windy day and the water was so incredibly choppy the it was... More

We used this company twice. First was a half-day boat rental with Capt. Shawn. Shawn brought us all over the Lake and showed us all the interesting spots, including Emerald Bay. We stopped and walked around Vikingsholm, stopped so the teenagers could jump off a huge rock into the lake (highlight of their trip!), and stopped for lunch at a... More

We did the 2 hour jet ski tour. It included a tour of emerald bay, Vikingsholm and the sunken barge, Rubicon bay, and Cave rock. Even though it was a tour, we still had time to go full throttle from place to place. They have wetsuits you can use in case you happen to fall in the lake. A tip... More

We booked the Emerald Bay guided jet ski tour and it was easily one of our favorite activities of our weekend getaway. First off, booking was easy, we called the night before and luckily reserved 2 spots for the next day. Check-in was easy, all the employees were friendly and informative. Our tour guide was Marina and she was really... More

We rented a boat from a company at Ski Run Blvd. I believe, it was a 24 footer. It was a perfect day to cruise around the lake and Emerald Bay. The boat rental is not cheap, a two hours rental will cost you roughly $550, however, it's worth the money.

I can not tell you a better way to experience the gorgeous deep blue waters of Lake Tahoe. We rented a pontoon boat for 4 hours. The staff give you a quick overview on how to work/drive the boat, they escort you out of the marina, and then you are on your own! We drove across the lake to Emerald... More

Everybody from the Girls(Sam and Carey)we dealt with from the minute we got to Ski Run Boat Company to upper management including John the manager @ the dock are the rudest & most unprofessional group of people we have ever come across in a business setting! On August 30th the boat we were rented was unsafe & not working properly... More

I rented a boat for 4 hours and had a great time! Everyone was really nice. Carey helped us in the office and recommended a great boat for the family. Mike helped us on the docks and made what would normally be a tedious check out process a lot of fun! Getting to see Emerald Bay from the water was... More
