My family had two teams competing against each other in the game. The employees did not fully reset our playing field and it changed the outcome of who won and who lost. It really ended on a flat note, with some hard feelings. We immediately asked for a refund or a reduction in price, we were told they would have to check into it, after 15 minutes we left without getting any satisfaction from them. My suggestion is if you use the service, ask the employees to double-check the rooms prior to starting to ensure they did their job properly. the employees did not fully reset are playing field and it changed the outcome of who won and who lost. Due to the fact that they were sloppy and sitting up the game, but more importantly their customer service has a lot to be desired. Lot of things to do in South Lake Tahoe, this may not be one of them, :-(

This was our 2nd and 3rd time at this escape room. There are 4 different rooms. The clues are fun and challenging (although we did escape one room in 34 mins). We booked 1 room on Tuesday, but because we booked a second room for the next day we were given a considerable discount. Due to COVID, we were limited to just our family of 4 which makes it less chaotic. Definitely will get to the last (hardest) room next time and see if we can keep our 100% escape record!

My husband and I booked on a whim. We had never been to an escape room and weren’t quite sure what to expect. Tyler was our game master and he did well to let us try and think it out without too much steering. We didn’t make it out, but in hindsight I misunderstood a clue and ran with it and we wasted time on that. We did the lost cabin because my husband enjoyed the theme. We had a blast!!!! I wished that our trip was a little longer, we would have tried another one no problem. Some reviews we read say it’s dingy or really in need of repair. It wasn’t polished to 100% perfection. But take in mind people go in and get rough with the props. We could see where people tore things off that weren’t meant to be moved. Definitely a fun date for couples, and would do it again. But I would like to try something like this with more people to have fun bouncing ideas between

We play escape rooms when we travel and this one was a fun one. We did 2 rooms with just the 2 of us and we escaped the lost cabin with 10 min left and the Valley of Kings with 2 mins. Richard did a great job of being our host and was right there to answer when we needed a clue. We probably saved ourselves a couple hundred dollars by doing an escape room over gambling and we definitely had a better time.

Our family of four (including two teens) enjoy escape rooms, and Puzzle Room Tahoe did not let us down! We took on three of the four rooms during a visit in mid-July: Lost Cabin, Below Ground, and Valley of the Kings. Our favorite was Lost Cabin, but we enjoyed all three rooms. Managed to escape Lost Cabin and Below Ground, but not Valley of the Kings (it's a tough one, for sure!). Highly recommend visiting Puzzle Room Tahoe for some great fun!

The location was very run down and needed maintenance. No prior description or background provided for the room. Have been to other escape rooms that have a screen that provides a description, background, and history of the room. Would also receive clues through the screen. My teens were not happy with this location.

So much fun! My friends and I decided to try this escape room last minute and were so excited when they had availability and easy same day online booking. Our group of four did the “Valley of the Kings” room and it was the perfect level of challenging. Tyler was a great puzzle master and gave great hints via walkie talkie when necessary. Highly recommend to others—-we plan on doing another room the next time we visit.

My friend and I did 2 rooms (Lost Cabin & Valley of Kings) and thought the rooms were well designed and really fun. I thought the cabin room was a little more intuitive and linear and the Egyptian room was a little more difficult, especially 1 puzzle in particular. But overall good costumer service and room designs. Will be coming back to try the other rooms at some point.

This escape room was such a fun activity for my husband and I! I feel lucky that we were staying at Bally’s so that we stumbled upon it. We did the battleship game and had a great time, finishing with about 20 minutes to spare. Christian was helpful and happy to have us there. I appreciated that he double checked what part of the room we were on and that we had done some sleuthing ourselves before giving us the clue. The room was a good challenge, even for my husband and I that have done escape rooms before!

The price was too high for what was offered. AC was needed. The room was extremely hot. The heat made us hurry thru to escape. Did like the unlimited clues and was quite easy for newcomers. Did not like how everything else we asked for such as, a sign saying we escaped was being worked on, the timer was being worked on (very broken), the AC is being worked on, etc. The price did not match the quality of the experience. It should be $15 until everything that is being worked on is completed.
