"Xiangjiang River" is a mighty broad category. I am only reviewing a specific area of the riverside in Changsha. On the West Bank, near Xinmin Road, is a nice broad paved and landscaped walkway for an evening or morning's stroll. This is also a great location for watching the Saturday night fireworks display from Juzi Zhou island. On the East side of the river is a larger park where retired people gather in the mornings for exercise, music and games. I very much enjoyed strolling through the people and sharing their enjoyment. Both sides are well maintained, safe and free. One of the nicer places in Changsha.
