As most villages and remote places are still populated with lots and lots of people, this is the only proper remote village I went to in all of China! Only a few hundred local people live here, all the rest are Chinese tourists during winter time. It is so nice. I walked up the mountain in 1.5 hours. This is a must in January, the most speculator place I went to in WINTER in China! They don't get a lot of western tourists but it's amazing! Def worth the hassel to get to and with the English barrier. So picture perfect!!!!
