陕西省宝鸡市麟游县慈善寺遗址位于麟游县城几公里远的地方，群山环抱，溪水绕流，环境优美不说，所保存下来的佛教造像之规格和历史价值无与伦比。此处佛教造像是隋唐皇家寺院的代表，雕刻工艺水平之高超堪称一绝。虽是在悬崖峭壁上雕造而成，但佛像目若止水，弟子形态可掬，菩萨忧民忧世的神态都表现出来，尤其是工匠通过高超的雕刻手法将佛、菩萨所穿衣服的质感也展现无遗。在粗糙坚硬的崖壁上能雕出柔软细腻的纺织品的质感，令人难以置信。如果是在石膏上雕出如此境界，已经是旷世奇艺，何况是在石头上，还是在悬崖峭壁的粗糙坚硬的石壁上，确实让人叹为观止，若不是亲眼所见，我也不会相信。
