We booked our whole honeymoon package with PeriPeriDivers - a 3 weeks trip for a Drive and Dive Safari in South Africa and Mozambique. And what can we say? It was just amazing - better than we would've ever expected. All started in Jo'berg where Steve picked us up at a nice place he recommended to us - stayed there one night for a reasonable price. Then we had a little Road Trip until we arrived at a wonderful lodge in Marloth Park - 2 Wildebeests were already awaiting us in the backyard. In the next days lots of different wonderful creatures came visiting us there (Impalas, Steinbocks, Warthogs, Fruitbats, Bushbabys ...). That was just amazing! Our first night we had dinner at a nice little place called Amazing River View - there we saw our first crocodiles and hippos. We had 3 days 10hr safari at Kruger National Park with a nice and experienced tour guide called Kobus - we saw all of the big five and a lot more (like a cheetah, an ostrich and some really rare birds ...). We really enjoyed our stay. On our last night there we made a braaie in our garden, which was also fun. After four nights in Marloth Park we were on the road again - leaving South Africa and arriving in Mozambique. That was quite an experience! Our first stop in Mozambique was Ponta do Ouro. We went there for shark diving (3 days diving). And what can we say? We saw loads of them. Tiger, Bulls, Hammerheads, Dusky, Silver, Grey and Whitetip ... Also Eagle and Devils Rays. We also could see lots of Dolphins and Humpbacks on the surface. A great start into our diving experience in Mozambique. After four nights we were back on the road again and arrived in Tofo, where we got to know the rest of the team. Everybody was really kind! The place we stayed there had a great oceanview. And we got to know the other couple that was joining us from that part on as they booked the 'Whale of a time' experience. We could snorkel with Dolphins, whalesharks and humpbacks - it was amazing! And diving with the guys and girls from PeriPeri was insane! Everybody was just nice and helpful and friendly. The surface interval was filled with hot soup, homemade sandwiches, fresh fruits and lots of whale and whaleshark interactions. Two days we could even go on the boat with Anna from Marine Megafauna Foundation - who we could ask all our crazy questions about the whales, sharks and rays. Our last night in Tofo we went to Dathonga where they play african live music on sundays. When you're in Tofo on a sunday - definitly go there! It was an extraordinary experience. For me as a vegan it was also really easy to find good foods in Tofo! Steve also looked out for me throughout the whole trip so that I never came short! After 5 nights in Tofo we went to our last stop in Morrungulo - that place topped everything. Whenever you're in Mozambique and if you enjoy diving - you really have to go there! It's like the last piece of heaven on earth down there. The accomodation is breathtaking and the rooms are really beautiful. The staff is again very kind and Artur (the Chef in the kitchen) even gave us two bottles of his very delicious homemade PeriPeri - and he also managed to cook really good vegan food for me. The PeriPeriDivers are the only people around Morrungulo and the divesites aren't even all discovered by now. Sadly the visibility wasn't on our side. But nevertheless we had many close encounters with whales there (sadly enough not on scuba) and additional to our list we saw a leopard shark and lots of different rays. In total we can only say, we totally enjoyed our stay. The people, the animals, the dives, the accomodations everything was just great and we really got all of the big five above and below! We can recommend the PeriPeriDivers without hesitation and shout out a big thanks to Steve, Nick, Martina and the rest of the crew for everything. We wanted a special honeymoon but actually didn't expect it to be THAT great! We really had a whale of a time! It was a blast and we promise you guys we will be back. And next time we stay till we see those goddamn humpbacks on scuba (which happend just the day we went to the airport - sadly enough).

Team Peri-Peri Divers helmed by Steve, Martina and Nick served up an extraordinary time at their new spic-and-span dive shop-lodge and across the dive sites. Morrungulo only sits 3 hours north of Tofo and is neither Ponta nor Vilanculos nor Tofo with this barely peopled swathe of sea and surf a MUST experience. They are all special places but this is a place apart. The pristine, above beach spot, on an easily arranged transfer by road, stands alone and is a throwback to a time when beaches were simply sane, shore and sea. This 2nd Peri-Peri location includes a top-notch lodge w/ sea facing rooms, excellent wifi, a pool, a well-maintained bar and excellent food much comprised of fresh fish and fresh other. The boat, dive equipment and all on team are pros while extra attentive to the smallest details. Our dive time spanned encounters with both species of Manta, several species of other rays, nurse sharks, white-tips and tigers, huge turtles and other. Add the multiple extraordinary encounters with Humpbacks with their young in passage. Add both Steve and Nick's humour and their effusiveness borne of their genuine love of the sea. Visit soon!

Amazing Peri Peri team, so full of energy, and so passionnate by their job. We were there for the whales and we weren't thinking seeing them so close in the water, and so many from the boat. We enjoyed both diving destination Tofo & Morrungulo, amazing dive sites, wildness, and good food... Thanks to Steve, Nick & team, you shared with us your passion for these places which will remain forever in our memory

This has got to be the best dive centre in Mozambique. My experience as a first time diver was amazing. I completed my certification using the pool in Tofo and getting my dives in at Morrungulo as well as the deep water adventure. Many thanks to Steve Cinda and Nick.
