Two grandchildren, 12 and 14, just squeezed into the height restriction (so they can reach controls/pedals), they absolutely loved it, flying their spitfire, take-off, looks, rolls, under a bridge and the forward views amazing, great resolution. Fabulous instructors who were patient yet never talked down to the kids. Worth every penny, the adults now all want a go!

Where to start? The set up is in a real shed full of memorabilia and the instructor knows his stuff. The simulator is fully functioning with real Spitfire parts and although it doesn’t actually move you would swear it does. The instructor takes you through the flight and how everything works then you start the engine (brilliant noise) set the flaps, throttle up, keep on the runway with the rudder, pull back on the stick climb away, flaps an undercarriage up. Then you go through a set of manoeuvres, after which you get to see yourself go past. Thirty minutes felt like ten, it was over too soon. If you want to fly a Spitfire but haven’t got £2000 to do the real thing this is pretty dam close and well worth it, I would gladly go round again.
