    Great day out
We had a fantastic time visiting with our 2 year old. The food selection was good, and the amount of rides were great. There are lots of play areas to keep them entertained. Please note a few of the rides are tokens only and do you have to pay for these, and there aren’t many animals to actually stroke but it is definitely a fun day out.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we are so happy your 2 year old had a wonderful time and we look forward to seeing you again soon :)

    Excellent
We visited with our 4 year old son and we had the best day. The farm had loads to do and had lots of play areas inside and out for the kids and a sensory room. Our son particularly enjoyed the room with the slides! think this was his favourite part of the whole place :) The animals looked well kept and the barns/enclosures were very clean. Highlight animal wise was we saw some 1 day old lambs on our visit which were very cute! I do have to make a big mention to all the staff there we countered that day. They were all so friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to help. We were a bit lost at one point looking for the sensory room and a member of staff approached us to ask if we were ok and needed any help? They then showed us where it was. The staff at the food counter and gift shop by the soft play were great too and went though all the token info with us and spoke to us about the show times etc for the park. We couldn't fault how friendly they were. Tom who was driving the tractor rides was very friendly and stopped to talk to us about the park. We will definitely return again and cant wait.
What a wonderful review, thank you for taking the time to write it. We really love hearing when our customers have such a great time with us it means the world. We look forward to welcoming you back soon :)

    Fantastic place to visit
What an amazing place, so much to do and see. More than just a farm lots of rides and attractions a few needs tokens which are £1 but most of it included in the price. Most was on times but every 30 mins something was running (ie a ride) or happening like stroke the guinea pigs etc. Staff very helpful and friendly. Shame its far away as would definitely be back. Thank you for making the last day of our holiday so good. We stayed almost all day.

    Great fun day out, but..
We have visited Fishers a few times. We had noticed, however, this time the prices had gone up quite a bit. This was quite telling as it was Easter holiday week and it was very quiet. People were eating more of their own picnic food and the restaurants were very quiet. Staff were saying it’s the quietist Easter they have seen. I think the cost for under 3’s at 21.95 is just too much. We might visit again but will see what others are offering around the area first and we will probably do as others were doing and bring our own food to balance out the cost, although this is a shame for the park. Toilet were in a disgusting state. Rides were good, the 5 year old got to do a lot more than the nearly 3 year old.
We have chosen to continue to limit our capacity on admissions during holidays and have sold out of tickets on most days. Our intention is to create an enjoyable atmosphere for the families that choose to visit our family farm park, rather than feeling overcrowded like you may have experienced at other attractions. So far it has resulted in happier staff and customers alike, but we appreciate your concern. Under 3's (2 year olds) are £19.95 during peak season and under 2's are free of charge. We are about to add a new Changing Places style toilet facility to the Park as we're aware that we are under-delivering here and I'm sorry your experience here was a negative one. We check/clean our toilets on a rota every hour, so it's disappointing to read that this was insufficient on the day you visited and is certainly something we can quickly address/rectify. Thanks for your review and please feel free to contact us directly in future - we'd love to speak to you in person if you feel we've under-delivered on your expectations. Our complaints email is info@fishersfarmpark.co.uk if you'd like to chat further with us.

    The best day out!
I have been visiting Fishers Farm Park with my family for as long as I can remember (well over 20 years) and I now have the privilege of visiting with my own children. The farm is definitely one of the best and I love it each and every time. They are always developing and adding more rides and activities to the park which is great. Lots of animals, interactive activities, animal handling, tractor rides and indoor and outdoor play areas. Brilliant staff, kind, friendly, accommodating. The only thing I would say is how much the prices have gone up (about £20 for an adult ticket) however, sadly due to the increased cost of living it is understandable.
Thank you so much for your lovely review Isabelle! We love that you can now bring your own children here and are still enjoying coming to visit us :) We are consistently reinvesting in the rides and developing the park to maintain a fun, stimulating environment for the whole family and are so pleased your family love it! We are immensely proud of our staff here so thank you for your wonderful comments and taking the time to review us. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon! :)

The best farm we’ve been to
Just returned from a day at fishers farm. It was even better than I remembered from last year. So many different activities to do, loads more than the usual farm type attractions. I have a son with autism so for us we usually don’t spend more than 3-4 hours on a day out. We were there ALL day today! The Glow Barn was brilliant for him. We spent an hour and a half total in there today. The staff at fishers farm were fantastic that we spoke to. Little things make for a better experience… we arrived and went to go on the ghost train but the queue had closed and the man was loading up the last ride of the session. I asked him if there was room for 2 more. He said this ride was full but to wait and he would go around again so we could get on. He didn’t need to do that, but he did and it makes a fab impression of the farm. Also, the man who drove the tractor ride. His commentary was endearing, I could hear the enthusiasm he had for the animals in his voice! Lots of picnic benches as well to eat at (which is a rarity out and about) great big thumbs up to fishers farm! Also, I was surprised at how clean everything was! We can’t wait to return
What a wonderful review Laura, thank you so much for taking the time to write it, it means so much to us to hear our customers have had a lovely time, makes all the hard work worth it, we hope to see you all again soon x

A bit of fine tuning needed
Although the grandchildren had a good time, the fact that several of the free activities are not really suitable for younger/smaller children, the ringo slides in particular, both the higher single and lower multi slope slide, as the rings themselves are very heavy and difficult for the smaller children to carry up the steps without help. I don't know if there is a feasible solution for this but it would make visiting for grand parents or any adults who are not physically fit, a whole lot easier. Also with all the staffed activities only being open for half an hour at a time a couple of times in the day we spent a lot of time just standing in queues to make sure the children got a chance to take a turn. All the staff we interacted with were really good, polite helpful and positive but a few more on duty to keep the activities open for longer periods, or all day possibly, would have been a bonus as we did miss out on a couple of them due to long queues. There were four bumper boats in the small pool but only two were being put to use and the poor girl on duty there was having a hard time keeping on top of things, not really knowing what to do when one mother left a small child, 2-3 years old, standing on the side of the pool screaming and struggling while she took her other child on the boat. If not for a member of the public who took charge of the child I don't know what she would have done. A safety issue I feel, perhaps 2 staff members on duty would be a good idea?
Hi JackieBarb, Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us. We always welcome feedback so I'm sorry you felt unable to bring this to our attention at the time of your visit. The devils dyke descent requires under 5’s to ride with an adult and the red and black slopes at the mound also operates a 5yrs+ restriction with adult supervision essential. From a safety perspective the rings have to be made of a sturdy, durable material so we have limited flexibility here, but will absolutely look into your suggestion. We are very fortunate that lots of the team here have little ones themselves, so they are often very helpful in determining practicality for the younger age group. I'm sorry that on this occasion this attraction fell short of your expectations. Inset days are always a bit tricky here as we employ a lot of young staff who are available to work weekends and holidays but are often back at university and college on term-time weekdays. To prepare for this, we do employ extra staff either end of the holidays, and also offer the lower admission price of £16.95 (instead of £21.95) per person to compensate for the reduced timetable, but always with the intention of opening attractions for longer where possible to meet the demand of our customers. We always display our ‘What’s on Today’ timetable on our website so that an informed decision can be made prior to your visit should you wish to, however I do understand the disappointment if you weren’t aware of this. We will be holding a debrief meeting next week for the May half term, and I’ll ensure that all of your feedback is added to the agenda. Thank you for your suggestions and please feel free to contact us directly in future - we'd love to speak to you if you feel we've under-delivered on your expectations or can make improvements to enhance our customer experience. Our email address is info@fishersfarmpark.co.uk if you'd like to chat further with us. We hope to welcome you back to the park again soon!

Really good fun at a very low cost!
We visited with a party of 9 for my nephew's 3rd birthday. Of course he had a great time, but I think us adults had an even better time! You can really tell the staff love what they do, they are friendly, great with the kids and helpful doesn't even begin to explain it. A lot of these farm / attraction places charge you for entry and then you'll be paying for something new every 5 minutes, but at Fishers Farm the entry cost covers basically everything, and you can buy a couple of tokens if you want to try any of the attractions that need them - but most are free! There are picnic areas so you don't have to spend any money on food if you're prepared, however their food outlets aren't too expensive. I can't recommend this place enough, we'll definitely be back. Thanks Fishers Farm Park team!!
Thank you so much we really appreciate your reviews and hope to see you and your family again soon :)

    Amazing
I just love fishers farm park. We’ve been a few times and there’s so much to do. The splash park is great. The pony rides are great. Some things require additional payment but I don’t mind as they’re all fantastic activities.

What can I say about our family day at fishers? I'll start with the good, weather was lovely for the Jubilee weekend, the farm wasn't too busy. Our little person loved going on a variety of activities and rides.

But the things that tarnished it for us was:

Having had to move the orginal booking due to illness, we were told we have to pay an extra £10 only when we arrived. I assume it was admin fee, but a bit annoyed that this wasn't told to us previously and that it was implied that we could move the date freely.

Discovering that some of the steps to the houses in the Enchanted wood are rotten, which could cause serious damage if not looked at and fixed. Luckily my little person noticed it and was careful around those, some might not be.

The Customer service from some of the saff and outlets need to be addressed. We purchased 2 drinks from the kiosk opposite the sky fall attraction, only to be told that it was out gas after we had paid and that someone was coming over to replace it. I had informed staff where we were and we would wait for our drinks as they said it would be 5 minutes. There was no apology for this, just money taken and us left waiting. After 15 minutes my husband asked what was going on and was told it was already fixed. No member of staff had come over to inform us, drinks were handed over only after we asked, but the staff member was unsure which was diet and which was not. Not great it we had a diabetic in our party.

Finally, the staff member who serves ice cream at the south downs adventure kiosk told us a particular ice cream was one flavour and told another customer it was a completely different flavour. I would also consider changing the colour of the pink ice cream as it will surely be a favourite with some little people, but it is strawberry and champagne flavour. Whilst the strawberry one is white with pink bits.

Having spend a considerable amount of money for a family day out, and especially with the additional costs once you are in, I expected better service all round.

Thank you for reviewing our family farm park and we’re so pleased your little ones enjoyed the variety on offer here. We aim to accommodate changes where we can and there is no admin fee for moving bookings within the same season that you booked. However, if you booked for a low/mid season day and then visited during peak season, then the price difference will be required. I’m sorry you weren’t informed of this when you moved your booking, as this is part of our training process. ‘The Enchanted Wood’ is currently on our project list for maintenance and development, and like the whole park, is monitored daily for health and safety. Anything deemed unsafe would be rectified quickly by our team on the morning or evening checks, but thank you for feeding this back. I’m sorry to hear your feedback about our staff. You’ll see from most other reviews that this is way below the level of customer service you would normally expect here, so I’m sorry we under-delivered for you on this occasion. Our staff training and recruitment process is a high-level, and usually one of our top comments from customers, so although it’s disappointing to read about your experience, it’s certainly something we can rectify. The strawberries and champagne ice cream was a special for the Jubilee Weekend so shouldn’t be a problem in the future, but we see your point and certainly take that on board. Please feel comfortable contacting us directly in the future (should you choose to visit us again) as we welcome all customer feedback and would have loved to have resolved some of this for you whilst onsite. We’re a family business, with small children ourselves, and would always be empathetic to any issue you encounter during your visit to us – we’re a good bunch and we truly care about giving you a positive experience with us. We hope we are able to welcome you and your family back in the future.

Amazing place to be! There's so much included for the price - even with an 18 month old, we did
so much including a tractor ride, teacup ride, train ride, bouncy pillows, toddler village and of course, going round to see the animals. All the staff were smiley and welcoming and one of the trainees working the teacups really paid special attention to spinning the teacups and asking if the kids were having fun. Food at Farmer's Grill was great - just under £40 for great quality cheese burgers, bacon butties and veggie wraps, a big portion of chips and fizzy drinks for 4 people which we thought was fab value! In these weird times it was also good to see that social distancing and precautions were in place, but they did not affect our day at all and made us feel very safe. Rides were sanitised between each go which was good to see too. Animals included alpacas, horses, a variety of breeds of cow, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, sheep, geese, pigs and so much more! There were baby lambs, calves and little piglets too which were so cute. Animals are well looked after and everything was very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone - value for money, amazing staff, great food and plenty to do.

Me and my family come here every year around the 1st weekend of Jan to celebrate my 2 daughters Birthdays (this year turned 6 & 4) and we always have the best day!

The staff are AMAZING throughout the park. Even the younger staff who in other places of work would be miserable are so great with children and adults alike. All attractions are maintained and run so well and there is so much to do that you can make a full day of it!

I’ve been to Fishers Farm maybe a dozen times in total now and I think it’s brilliant value for money and look forward to returning in the near future!

Visited Fishers Farm on 26/08/21, was a family day out with young children. Personally think tickets price is to much for that you get in the park. Some rides requires additional charge. When most of parks have it included in the ticket price. A lot of outdoor play areas, variety of places to eat. Some of free rides looking very very old, like carousel, looks like they going to fall apart. Was an average day out. Probably would not come back again.

Our most popular comment of 2021 from our customers was “there’s too much to do in one day” so I wonder if perhaps you didn’t see the whole park? Or perhaps your children are not are target age of 0-10 years? If you do choose visit us again, it might be worth having a chat with one of our friendly team at reception who can advise you on how to make the most of your day? Our additional charges of £1 for 4 optional attractions once inside, are clearly stated on the website and at the point of booking. We don’t know of any local similar attractions that have these ride-on attractions included, most in fact charge for more (such as the tractor ride which is free here) but we’re of course sorry for your disappointment with this. We absolutely agree about our carousel! Something we are currently refurbishing to keep it in-line with everything else - would love to hear from you if you have time which were the other areas you mention? (Info@fishersfarmpark.co.uk) We hope you choose to return, but absolutely understand if perhaps our family farm park isn’t for you. We wish you all the best!

We visited Fishers Farm as a part of a camping holiday with friends. The farm and activities are excellent and as has been commented before the staff all round really are great - super friendly, knowledgeable and clearly enjoy their jobs. I really came here to praise the restaurant. We ate at the main restaurant. My little boy has coeliac disease and as such eating out can be stressful. The staff both in the restaurant and at the door were clearly knowledgeable of the strict gluten free dietary requirements for coeliacs, and the menu was clearly labelled (although I had called ahead so had an idea what we would be ordering). The waitress reassured me without asking that my son's chips and sausage would be cooked separately to other food, and she checked that his drink and ketchup were also gf. As with any restaurant it was not possible to 100% guarantee no cross contamination, but it was very much appreciated that significant steps are taken to avoid it. My son loved his meal and the rest of the party enjoyed their non gf food as well. At no point was I made to feel like I was being fussy or OTT (which sadly I have experienced elsewhere). Thank you for a great visit and an enjoyable, stress free meal.

I can’t rave about Fishers farm enough! For the price you get so much included! And any token rides are really good value as well for the amount of time you get. You can tell the animals are so well treated and so loved and the food in the cafe was delicious and fairly priced. Everything was meticulously clean and our twins had just the BEST day!

x4 adults and x4 kids (5,6,9 & 11). Great day had by all despite the rain! Kids were non stop on activities and were always on the go! It was a shame the ride on karts and pony rides were an extra cost. May not seem much but when you have budgeted for each child it is a bit of a kick having to pay out more.
There were plenty of things to keep everyone entertained of all ages and would recommend everyone tried the high jump and wall climbing!
Only down side of Fishers was the poor food with a high price tag. Expected it to be pricey but being a rainy day we wanted hot food otherwise would have opted for a picnic. Lets put it like this, Mc D's is cheaper with better burgers!
Tip for parents, you can avoid the gift shop!!!

Thanks for your feedback and so pleased you had a great time with us! Our burgers are usually so popular at The Farmers Grill, so I'm really sorry they weren't to our normal standard during your visit. Have you tried our Saddle Rooms Restaurant? This has a great new menu with home cooked favourites that might be more to your preference (though I'm pleased to say l, not comparable to certain famous fast food chains!). We advertise the small number of rides that require tokens on the website prior to booking and on a sign before you come through the entrance to help you decide which season to visit (as the prices do vary), but I'm of course sorry that this was disappointing for you and we'll certainly take your comments on board. Thanks again for choosing to visit our family-run farm park, and we hope we are able to welcome you back again in the future!

Just finished our first visit to Fisher's and was well worth the wait! Many friends have suggested Fisher's as a day out and honestly was the best day out with out 15 month old (haven't been able to do much with her as most her life has been during Covid). Having just coming out of lockdown (visited 25/04/21) we knew not everything would be open (indoor activities mostly) but definitely had enough to do with our little one. So glad we got to have a tractor ride around the grounds and the barrel ride was so much fun, bubba was giggling all the way round over the bumps.
We can't wait to visit again in the near future/summer and will cross fingers everything will be open as I know bubba will love the pony rides and soft play when they are able to go ahead.
Thank you to all the staff for making our family day out such fun :)

First visit to Fishers Farm, and we loved it. My grandsons aged 4 and 2 enjoyed everything from the enchanted forest, the roundabouts, the slides, the climbing equipment, the castle and the sand to the little train, and of course the animals. And splash attack was a huge hit too!

We felt safe during this visit, and l feel sure the staff have tried to manage the social distancing requirements as well as they can, but it is extremely difficult with small very excited children. Sanitising of equipment was carried out where possible. I felt they did the best they could.

Plenty of staff on hand, and large open spaces meant we could take time in the shade when we needed too. Lots of chairs and deckchairs.

I am sure that prebooking has limited numbers and l felt that was to our advantage.

We would certainly go again, it's very good value for money and there is so much for little people to enjoy.

I haven’t written a review for anywhere we’ve been as a family before - but having been a few times before, I thought I would leave one as I rave about it to everyone locally! Our first visit post lockdown, and my kids (4 and 5) would happily have stayed into the night! Absolutely perfect for this age, and the staff were even more chatty, warm and friendly than usual (and they are usually great). Really appreciated their difficult conversations to ask everyone to wear masks on the shop, and fantastically organised set-up for the restaurant and new soft soft play. Excellent time for kids and therefore lovely time for parents. A great find for everyone and wonderful staff and ethos x
