Came across this place through a driver. It was well worth the stop. Excellent Bebali cooperative helping women in remote areas. Staff very willing to explain and the weaving and dying process. Purchased a beautiful scarf which is quite unique.

This proved to be an interesting place to visit and learn about the local weaving and dying techniques. The proprietor has preserved a local tradition worth saving, and the resulting textiles are gorgeous.

I hate being the tourist shown crafts and then expected to purchase items that just don't look like the crafts I saw being made that where obviously a special performance for tourists.
