    Very cute.
Very pretty lake, an intense green body of water nestled between the woods and mountains. You get there from a very narrow road and therefore very uncomfortable every time you meet someone in the opposite direction... it's 4 km of stress. Parking costs 5 € I think until 18 then it is free. Beautiful pond, an oasis of relaxation equipped in some places with chaise-longue and wooden beds

From Pellizzano take the junction for Lake Caprioli about 2.5 km away you arrive at a large paid parking (Recommend to arrive early) but given the turnout you risk not finding a place. Accessible to all people even with a stroller you can go around the lake or venture into the various paths present. There is a chalet where you can safely eat typical dishes (high prices but not exaggerated). There you can lie siu green meadows that are all around the lake. What about an excursion that we recommend to everyone.

    Great experience
A beautiful though artificial lake. A little expensive parking. Excellent reception at both the lower alpine hut and the refuge on the lake. I do not recommend it for sport fishing, at least in summer, because there are too many people.

The lake is up a narrow mountain road at times not big enough for two cars but it well wort the short trip. Just before the lake there’s a nice little museum with interesting information about the local fauna. The lake is very peaceful with several hiking trail starting from it. Right on the lake there’s a full restaurant and a bar where we bought sandwiches. We then sat on the grass right by the lake.

This little lake is one of the best fly fishing spots in Northern Italy. It is stocked regularly with German Brown and Rainbow Trout during the summer months and is easily accessible from the town of Pellizzano in the Val di Sole. Note: The road from Pellizzano to the lake is steep and a bit narrow.

The lake is fed by several small streams and springs that flow from the Brenta Dolomites. If you are new to Italy, here's a few tips:

1) Purchase a license (mandatory) in Pellizzano at the Bar Centrale.
2) Come early and leave late.
3) There is paid parking and free parking, if you don't mind a walk.
4) The month of August is a total zoo and should be avoided.
5) Most high mountain fly patterns work well here including nymphs in sizes 16 to 12.
6) 4 to 6 weight rods recommended along with waders.
7) The lake is open to catch and release and catch and kill. (check limit regulations - usually 5)
8) The lakeside restaurant is only open in peak summer months; bring a lunch.
9) There are numerous picknic tables and grassy fields to eat in as well.
10) Check the regulations as the outfall stream is only leagally fished down to the stone bridge.

Buona Fortuna!

We really loved this place. Came here just before sunset, so we could park right near the lake and we were the only people there. The lake is very small (you can hike around it in less than 30 minutes) but it is beautiful from every angle. Well worth the trip.

Bad organization to go up on Wednesday! We arrived at 10.00 at the village gate to get back in the car, the attendant recommends the free bus service that leaves every 12 minutes, instead of getting in the car and paying 10 euros of parking..... so we accept the "green solution". We leave the car near the playground and we wait for the bus, where there were already about 15 people, we wait patiently under the sun, people keep coming, so after 25/30 minutes the bus arrives that brings yes and no 15 people, then in the crowd of angry people to get on we decide to give up and we go to pick up the car to get on and pay 10 euros for parking near the lake! In short, an absurd thing, so I strongly advise against coming on Wednesdays. As for the lake instead the place is definitely worth the visit for a relaxing day with picnic.

We visited the deer lake in the week of August.
Despite the bad weather, the destination was stormed by numerous tourists of all ages.
Parking is charged and they bring all possible cars.
There was an endless queue to park and access the site.
Needless to say, the beauty of this place takes a back seat with such aggressive and intrusive tourism.
Also to protect Nature, already threatened enough by man!

I decided to have lunch here given the excellent reviews... unfortunately, it is evident that everything that is written does not correspond to the truth of the facts.
Phone the local for a Reservation, is rudely rejected.
I ask for a table, they make me sit in the sun.
I ask to be able to remove some vegetables from a plate, they reply with “you can also remove them yourself”, so the dishes can not be modified, which is absurd given that there are also food intolerances.
After a few minutes, I get up, tell the waitress that I will opt for another place for lunch given the incompetence.

Very small lake - took us less than an hour to go around it. There are more hicking trails around it but we didn't have time. It's a nice place to visit in the afternoon, if you are tired from the day's activities. But no need to spend time to specially vist it.

It's wonderful. Relaxing view of the lake with amazing trees and green leaves all around, and you only hear the sound of the nearby waterfalls. There are even several fountains you can get fresh water from. Don't miss it, and bring a book with you to enjoy some relaxing time up there!

It is a small alpine lake at 1280 meters above sea level, it can be reached after a climb by car from the town of Pellizzano and parking is subject to a fee of 5.00 euros. But you can stay along the banks and stop in the meadows that border the forest all day, it is very beautiful and in the area there are some paths starting in various directions, there are also some taverns where you can taste many local dishes also based on the well-known cheese casolet of the Val di Sole.

Maybe because of the uncertain weather, which did not make us admire the beauty of the lake, or maybe too many people who ruined the atmosphere, but left us nothing big.
Artificial pond reachable by 5 min walk from the parking lot (for a fee....5 €, a theft).
We in a midweek morning, arrived around 9.30 in September we found already so many parking spaces occupied, I do not want to think of August!
The tour of the lake takes about 15 minutes... and nothing, end of the trip, there is a bar to drink a coffee and does not offer much more.
There are Trentino lakes much more beautiful and less advertised.
