About
Work on your tan, admire endless coastline views, and have a splash at this isolated beach near Lefkada. You'll need to take a hike over some mild terrain to reach Milos Beach, but you'll be treated to amazing panoramas along the way. Otherwise, a taxi boat from Agios Nikitas Village is another option. There’s plenty of room to lounge along the stretch of shore, but bring along beach provisions like snacks and drinks as amenities are limited. For a full day of beach fun, you can also check out nearby beaches like Kathisma and Agios Ioannis Beach. – Tripadvisor

We arrived at this beach by taxi boat from Agios Nikitas (4€/person/way) which leaves every 15 minutes with first departure from Agios Nikitas beach at 10am. We at 10:30 we were already in Milos Beach and probably thanks to this we were really very good. Crystal clear water on pebbles not annoying, but also plenty of space for children to play in the open sea. Probably, reading some other reviews, we were lucky enough to find a little windy day so without annoyance but at the same time with some air to breathe below 40 degrees. We stayed there all day and I think it is the most beautiful beach we visited on the island. Recommendation to arrive early because to get off at Agios Nikitas, you park only along the road and parking ends quickly (we for example arrived in the area around 9:30 and it was already quite full along the way). Indispensable an umbrella and food / drinks to spend the day. During our stay, the last taxi boat to return to Agios Nikitas was at 19:30

Wonderful beach, calm deep and clear waters, worth a day escape. If you are lucky and manage to park relatively close to the port of Agios Nikitas the process is easy. Frequent routes from the port without an appointment (as soon as full departure) and in 10 minutes you arrived, arranged and swimming. I do not recommend the path not for the distance (800 meters approximately), nor for the "black road" but because you have to go to the beach organized, with umbrella, fridge, supplies, towels etc and it is not worth carrying them. The boat takes 4€ per person and per route. Of course if you are a lot of people and you are not interested, put the weakest link with things in the boat and you take the path without weight. In addition there is a canteen on the beach, we did not visit it as it is high and what we bought until we downloaded it would warm up. These, you will definitely not regret for this beach and if you have days ahead, you will repeat it!!!

One of the most beautiful beaches in Lefkda.... You can get there easily with the taxi boat that leaves from the beach of Agios Nikitas.... or with a half-hour trek... we opted for a round trip with the taxi boat at a cost of 4 € each way ... exaggerated cost since the route lasts up to 5 minutes in all.... The sea of Milos is very beautiful... with the classic super celestial characteristic of Lefkada.... Unfortunately the cost of umbrellas is among the most other on the island... we are talking about 40€... Until about 1pm, if you arrive on time, there are large areas in the shade .... near the rock at the bottom.... practically on the opposite side to where the taxi boat arrives. Overall it is a place to see... maybe not the most beautiful on the island.... but at least once you have to go there.

The beach can be reached from Agios Nikitas in 30 minutes via a winding shaded path, or in just 5 minutes by taxi boat. The steep path starts next to the hotel Odyssey and climbs the hill between rocks and outcropping roots (not suitable for slippers); halfway down the slope to Milos, sunny and equally steep (about 250 steps). Taxi boats (from 10am to 5.30pm) cost €4 per way and per person are much more comfortable. The sea is beautiful, turquoise; on the sunny beach there are rounded stones. The baths are very inviting throughout the day, but usually in the afternoon the sea is a bit rougher.

We opted to return by taxi boat (about 25 people), departures from 10 am from the beach of Agios Nikitas every 15 minutes, in the morning no queue, for return qlc waiting more. 4 euros each way per person, crossing duration about 10 minutes. Someone also ventures the walk but it seemed challenging given the temperatures. Beach really deserves, wide, quiet waters quite degrading suitable for everyone, of maximum transparency turquoise color, even with small fish. Better to have shoes. Possible free area or umbrella rental (30/40 euros). There is a small prefab that functions as a bar, after a short ascent under the sun. High prices.

Reachable by boat from Nikita (starting from 10 am at a cost of 4 euros / cd) every half hour you arrive at this beautiful beach very long and almost all free except for some umbrellas at a cost of 40 euros with 2 deck chairs. The bar sells at a high price and has no toilet (this is a problem). With the calm sea the water is of a unique wonder and clarity and allows you to make beautiful dives. There is an access road from Nikita but I do not recommend it. A beach to see.

The most beautiful beach ever, crystal clear water. To get to the beach Recommendation the boat 8 euro round trip in a few minutes that you take on the beach of agios nikitas. The beach is equipped but we bought an umbrella at a cost of 13€ in the first bar you will meet along the road leading to the beach of agios nikitas.

Fantastic beach, hardly anyone there in October but still hot sun and warm water. The walk over the hill is not difficult if you wear trainers or similar and are reasonably fit (we're in our 60s, and don't have a problem, takes about 20 minutes). Take water with you and a towel to lie on (no facilities in October). The waves can sometimes be rough, but on other days the sea is perfectly calm and swimming there is just delicious. Clothes are optional.

Wonderful beach. Acqua cristallina!!! Lots of free beach, with the possibility to bring your own umbrella. At lunchtime, street vendors pass by with sandwiches, croissants and soft drinks (we had brought packed food). I didn't see a toilet. On the way we left the car in the village of Nikitas, then on foot to the inaccessible road (to do absolutely with hiking shoes). Otherwise, from the beach of Nikitas, a small boat leaves, every 10 minutes, at 4 euros per person (you avoid the walkway)

We went first thing. There is a trail from the town of Agios Nikitas. The journey is not very long but very worthwhile. The blue sea is stunning, the beach is salvage, there is only a small bar and you can rent some umbrellas. If you do not want to go on the trail from the main beach of Ágios Nikitas you can take a boat-taxi that takes you directly to the beach of Milos.

A fantastic beach, with wonderful clear waters and much fewer rocks than the rest of Lefkada beaches. There is a path that you can cross on foot (15 minutes) and you can be transported from Agios Nikitas to the beach of Mylos. There is the alternative with the boat which costs 8 euros (not worth it)go for a distance of 800 meters. Especially the hours when the beach gathers the most people (12 to 4) and the queue to go and come from the beach of Mylos is huge, the staff of the boat is not at all polite and with disgusting behavior. It only comes every 15 to 20 minutes, even though there are four boats that go off alternately, and as a result when they get there, the people tend to get in, creating terrible problems!

As amazing as the beach itself is you’re much better off going other beaches like Kathisma or Porto Katsiki which are far more accessible. The walk to get to the beach is ridiculously long and massively steep and dusty, alternatively you can get the boat for €4 each way but we weren’t aware of this until after we did the walk. The sun beds are very overpriced ranging from €25- €30 and there’s only one bar on the beach which is also overpriced. You can have a much better experience at other beaches without all this hassle

Milos is obviously beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice, but I chose to leave a review for the purposes of a few technical details which may be important to other visitors. So firstly, don’t bother walking the path through Agios Nikitas… It’s not very safe and it gets crowded. Walk down through the town to the beach and catch the little boat shuttle, it only costs €3 pp each way, (as of 2022), and it’s a fantastic way to see a bit of the island too!
Second. Yes it’s organised, but it’s extremely low tech so take cash with you if you plan on buying food/drink and/or renting a daybed.
Lastly, keep an eye on the weather forecast for the day you go. The boats will cease to operate without notice if there is bad weather forecast for that day. Be sure to ask the operator if they plan on running their boats for the time you are there.

Beautiful you feel castaway immersed in the blue. A lot of free space to install umbrellas, if you want to rent umbrellas they asked us 40€ per day. Fair water price other drinks you can not buy. In the afternoon now cooked we had to wait under the sunthe arrival of the 5th boat before leaving the beach.

Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. Shelves off very steeply and strong undertow.
We caught the water taxi which cost €20 each way for two adults and three young children!
The boats back were few and far between and when one finally turned up the scrum to get on it was horrible and to be honest, quite dangerous as everyone shoved and pushed to get on. Unless your children are very young or you have a lot of stuff I would recommend walking- we walked up to the top of the cliff to take photos and it wouldn’t have taken much longer to walk back!

Overrated beach. The sea is always rough because of taxi boats and umbrellas €30 not even in the front row. I also do not Recommendation for the inconvenience to get there. You have to take the taxi boat that runs one every 30 minutes and they charge you €6 both outward and return.

By far the best beach on Lefkada. A little bit of effort is required to get here. Take the turning from the main village street and then it’s about a 20 minute walk up and over the hill.

We went early around 8am so not many people on the pathway but it gets busier later on as we found on our return. There is a boat from the village but it didn’t run on the day of our visit.

It’s a beautiful beach, shingle with clear water. The waves aren’t as rough as some of the other nearby beaches such as Avali beach.

No facilities here so take drinks and snacks

Awful! Arrogant staff, ridiculous prices also ask for extra money trying to scam you. Bad experience with so many nearby beaches this and the worst of the worst stay away!

TLDR, By far the best beach we went to in our Lefkada trip, highly recommended.

In more detail:

The beach itself was lovely with small pebbles and sand, not too crowded compared to the rest we saw. The water is as you see it in the photos, wonderful, clean and a bit towards the colder side due to a few currents passing from certain places.

View from one side is a very green mountain with cliffs, and only a couple of buildings breaking up the view of the nature.

There is a tiny shop with umbrellas and sun-beds, but as seen from various other reviews, its not the best and it taints the otherwise remote feeling of this beach.

Highly suggested to bring your own things (at least umbrella, water, something to eat), if you want to avoid that shop and be independent.

We went around 15:00, on a Wednesday in August, and it had enough people to feel full closer the sea, but with many meters empty space between the umbrellas of each group. Felt way more relaxed than other beaches we been around the island.

Transportation is the main catch for the place.
There is a hiking path from a nearby village, that some report that is 10min long, others 20min, others 30min.

We chose the alternative, which is the small boats that go constantly back n forth from Nikitas Beach to Mylos Beach every 10-15min.

It costed us 12 euros (back n forth for 2 people), they where easy to find, and in both cases there was a small queue to get on them, with the one leaving the island taking more time.

Other than the fact that they stop around 19:30 in the afternoon (the time fluctuates based on people, sometime earlier or later, just ask them), we didn’t find anything wrong with them, super easy to use.

Last, to get to those boats in Nikita Beach, you need to walk through the paved road in Agios Nikitas Village, roughly for 10min. Note that no vehicles are allowed in that area, so you need to park before it and walk the rest of the way.

Parking depends a lot, we were lucky to find quickly, but I suspect from the density of the cars in the area, that will not always be the case.

Overall we loved the place, if we had more days on the island we would visit it again.

Hard walk to it, but worth it. Bring your own food / drinks because there are no beach bars. There are at least 2 sellers of donuts...
Tip, also bring your own umbrella. Renting a set of 2 beds under a parasol costs you € 40.00. Not normal.
