What can I say About Capt. Kerry & his Crew: Awesomeness & Professionals at an other Level! I was invited by my Brother Warren and his Family to come along with them in this Bill Fishing Expedition, it was my first time :) The day started at 1st dat light with our Bilingual Capt. José and with his expertise in finding all the Exotic Species that the Gulf of Chiriqui has to offer: Rooster Fish, Bone Crushing Cubera Snapper among other coastline action. Capt. Kerry has got 1st Class & Professional Boats that will do the job with the up most confidence with twn 250's in order to get very fast where the "Action" is! One thing that I will never forget was the "Action"!!! It was so unreal and such a Learning and Fun experience. Special thanks to Capt. Kerry and his Crew. Ps...I highly recommend "CFP" for some Family Fun & Adventure because of their "VIP" Service!

January of this year, myself and 7 other anglers booked a week of yellow fin tuna and other big game species of fish with Come Fish Panama and it was a very memorable experience that I encourage any outdoor enthusiast to enjoy and take advantage of. The total group size were 12 Michiganders and There were travel challenges which are always a concern when flying out of Chicago O’Hare airport in the middle of winter. A routine winter weather advisory met us the day before departure but thankfully O’Hare staff was ready for the challenge. Plane was on time and we traveled to Panama City non-stop which was fantastic. The connecting flight from Panama City to David was a bit hectic due to time constraints and customs check points but somehow we made it on flight to David where Kerry Leggett met us with smiles and friendly faces to taxi us by van to our resort on the water. The van was very comfortable and all 12 of us were happy to finally be on vacation. Our luggage was transported in another vehicle so that was the least of our worries on our way to the resort and upon arrival at the resort our suitcases were already awaiting in our beautiful bungalows. The next morning it was time to hit the water and our trip included breakfast at the resort which was always on time and served expeditiously. Our captains and mate picked us up at the docks and we were out on the water fishing and targeting and catching our bait first thing in the morning before venturing out to where the game fish awaited. We fished deep waters during late morning and afternoons for Dorado, Snapper, yellow fin tuna, sailfish and marlin and then had the opportunity for some inshore when the tide changed and were able to do some poppin’ for dorado, rooster fish and Jack Crevalley as well as whatever else was lurking in the shallows. The captain furnished lots of beverages (water, soda, beer and juice) as well as a lunch along with a fresh fruit of the day which varied. The days were very warm so the water and fruit were the favorites. The captains kept us on fish and if there was some down time to be enjoyed it was usually on the bean bags which were our luxury item on the boat. We originally booked 3-days of fishing and luckily decided to book a 4th day since that was the best day of our week with some big 100+ pound yellow fin tuna. Overall experience was a 10 and we will definitely be back to Panama to fish with Kerry’s guide service Come Fish Panama. Expect weather to be warm so my list of 5-must haves are multiple buffs (sun shades), extra Hats, couple good pair of sunglasses, cool wicking long sleeve shirts and good sunblock including 70 or 100 spf for face. Resort (Bocas Del Mar) was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Had two beautiful pools, well manicured grounds and the restaurant was very clean as well with top notch service and delicious menu items with an assortment of meals to choose from. Entire vacation was A+

We greatly enjoyed our sixth trip at Come Fish Panama last week fishing with Capt. Luis (Pulo) and Mate Angel. Ran into unseasonably wet weather but the team worked hard to keep us on fish. Caught numerous species including Cubera and Mullet Snappers, Yellow Fin Tuna, Rainbow Runner and Dorado. We had two Marlin shots and one Sailfish shot but no hook up. I caught my personal; best Cubera, estimated by Capt. Luis at 50#; released for someone else to catch. Water was teeming with bait, Bonito and Green Jacks. Eva caught the biggest fish again, YFT about 70#. Left with blisters and two full coolers. 😀😎🤩 Booking with CFP was seamless as always and Bocas del Mar sustained their high standard of comfort.

We are two experienced fishermen, one of us being a fishing guide in Canada, both have been fishing most of our lives fresh and saltwater. We went to Boca Chica because of it's reputation of being a great inshore and offshore fishing spot. After a few days of inshore fishing we booked a trip to go offshore with Captain Kerry at $1.400 for the day.He insured us on the phone, that he has all the world class equipment, Spinning rods, Popping rods, trawling rods & reels. We arranged pick up at 7am and me and my buddy were really looking forward to a great day.We had our own very good gear, but decided to leave it behind at the villa we were staying .We were on the jetty at 06:50 am to watch boat after boat going out. Finally at 07:40am our boat arrived. The captain and the Deckhand looked as if they had had a heavy night ,to our dismay the gear on board looked terrible ...maybe 10 years ago it was world class .After 15 min going out at sea, they realised they had no lures on board, they turned around loosing more of our time.At 08:20 we hadn't even left Boca Chica. We started on a very slow cruise, hearing on the radio all about the action at the spot we were heading to, which was making us feel more frustrated then we already were.We did some trawling and hooked up a beautiful sailfish - very sad thing was, that the Deckhand rushed the fish after a 5-6 min fight onto the deck, the fish had too much energy left and the Deckhand in trying to control it snapped his bill of - we were both devastated and this was really not the experience we were looking for as the fishes welfare is always our top priority. Finally we got to Isla Cedro when everyone had already been there for more than 1 hour and left to Hannibal Bank.We trawled around in circles for the next 3 hours. We asked to go to Hannibal Bank where upon the Captain replied : Oh no no , this is the best spot here(obviously a ploy to safe fuel).Because the "world class" gear was so terrible we couldn't even do any popping or spinning. We were the last ones to get out and the first ones to be home at 4:30 pm absolutely furious about this terrible experience. We had to calm ourselves down and called Captain Kerry explained the situation and hoped that he would handle this professional and give us a partial refund for this Miss Adventure, sadly he is non responsive up to this day.How they got 5 * on tripadvisor we'll never know.
