Visiting the ice palace is one of the activities people do when they reach the top of Jungfraujoch. It was nice, the tunnels were kept well, especially the floors. We didn’t need special footwear to walk through the ice palace. When you are up there,...More

In 1934 two mountain guides from Grindlewald and Wengen hewed out an enormous cavern in the ice. The cavern covers an area of over 1000 m sq with many passageways. The warmth generated by thousands of visitors means that the irregular network of passages and...More

Any ice place/cave is a nice experience, however this was not the most memorable. Maybe because it was so very crowded and noisy , I didn't like the overall experience. It also was short on space, so some people might find it very claustrophobic. Having...More

Can't really describe the beauty and fun in the Ice Palace! Just enjoy it all and be filled with childlike amazement! Be sure you're good on your feet. Don't bother if you've got difficult walking....be a fit person!

One of the highlights of going up to Jungfraujoch. Beautiful carved sculptures as you wander through. It's not as slippery as you would think because it's so cold and dry that nothing melts. Definitely worth the time.

You walk through these tunnels and see the various ice sculptures. Worth a look but I would move on unless you have time.

Nothing is provided and I didn't see anything offered on rent. Please be covered and clothed nicely as it's freezing year around
