Is only about 20 mins drive and is best suited to be visited in the evenings for a couple of hours. Has a Lot of Places to worship and take scenic photosVisited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 15, 2023
- BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, Serbia19,452 contributionsBeautiful Temple behind Lady BuddhaLady Buddha is certainly the main star of the entire complex, however this gorgeous Temple is situated behind it and overlooked. In front are cute Bonsai trees, while the Temple itself is very richly decorated, both outside and inside. You can enter it (taking off your shoes of course), and walk around and back the main altar where the main Temple is connected with the library and a kitchen.Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten February 2, 2024

There is the large pagoda, statues, a traditional temple and of course the large lady Buddha that you can see from the beach in Danang. There are also several attractions to see here: Temples, Shrines, Statues of Buddhas, flower gardens, etc. Steps are few, very manageable. Free, clean toilet facilities are also here.Visited April 2024Traveled soloWritten April 14, 2024
- david.travelBudapest, Hungary407 contributionsSmall trip from MyKhe beachWe go there with grab from MyKhe Beach. There is no entrance fee, so you need to pay just the transfer. We spent there more than 1 hour, there are a lot of interesting monuments, statues, there are monkeys, vendors, etc. If you are in DaNang, worth to see it.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 20, 2024

Located on the outskirts of Da Nang city, the Linh Ung Pagoda features the Lady Buddha statue - the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam. The pagoda compound is extensive, beautifully landscaped and very serene. Unfortunately, its growing popularity amongst tourists could also have the negative impact of overcrowding the site.

Beautiful scenic drive up to the Pagoda and very easy to find. Take some time to enjoy the drive and then walking around the Pagoda. Beautiful garden surrounding the Pagoda with many states and trees/plants. The giant Lady Buddah near the Pagoda is extremely impressive too. A must visit in Da Nang.

This is a must do in Da Nang. We visited the day we arrived since its only a 15min drive from the city of Da Nanag and I must say this really gave a total high to my trip to Da Nang. I loved every second of Linh ung Pagoda. I even made a video on how much i loved this site and DaNang (in case you want to watch it, my channel is Therapist Nomad) . Make sure you come here with at least 2 free hours to enjoy and really immerse in this place. Also, it is said that if you pray your wishes in the pagoda they will come true!

About 20 minutes by car from Da Nang city.
We chartered a Grab for 6 hours and were taken there on the way back to the hotel from the My Son ruins.
(6-hour charter: 888,000 VND, 5,383 JPY)
Admission is free.
You can see the fairly large Lady Buddha from afar.
There are many other Buddha statues lined up besides the Lady Buddha, and since they are located high up, the sea looks beautiful.

visiting the pagoda is as walking into a small world within a world. the location of the pagoda is great as it is standing at the foothill of the mountain, overlooking the town. walking the pagoda's ground is also pleasant, clean and SOMETIMES, very quite!

What an incredible place, an absolute MUST visit if you’re in Da Nang/ Hoi An. Free entry for all temples/statue. Remember to dress/bring modest clothing to go into the temples (shoulders and knees covered) to show respect. Only 15/20 min from Da nang and cheap transport with grab there, most drivers will even wait for you there for a ride back. It’s polite/good to take a few small notes to tip the temples (only 1-5k) we enjoyed this so much!

I don't think there is a walking path. If your walk along the road from the resort at the bottom of Son Tra mountain it is probably about 5 kms. A taxi or motor bike can take you up the mountain.
