We had a wonderful time on the 4D/3N Komodo islands tour.
Our guide Benny was awesome at pointing out all the sights and amazing snorkeling spots.
The boat accommodation was basic but the crew were lovely and the food was amazing. The third night at the luwansa resort was a lovely way to end a wonderful trip.

Let me for introduce my self. I'm Adi Parmana and going to Labuan Bajo at 14 Oktober 2015.
I am very pleased to come and visit to Komodo National Park and served by Mr. Alfons. Excellent, friendly, and helped us with great responsibility. Very kind person and for my trip as itenary and all outstanding, and Mr. alfons accommodate everything well. but one that less is Mr. marcelino Sunjaya promising boat that I use include air conditioning in the room, but the boat that I use there is no air conditioning in the room, but it is covered by an outstanding crew and I'm very comfortable being on that ship. If I going there again I would be guided by Mr.Alfons again. See you Mr. Alfons, We always remembering the things that we spend together on boat, happy, laughing, and telling story together. 👍🏻 100 for Mr. Alfons

To begin with, I contacted several tour groups and settled on this one as email replies came faster and with more details than the other groups. Knowing what I know now, I would have stayed at a hotel and paid the extra money to join a speedboat tour to/ from the smaller islands, rather than doing a live-aboard situation (unless you're going to spend the money for a nice boat).
I would like to echo other comments - the boat accommodation was quite poor. The only place to sit on the boat outside the cabin was two crude wooden benches that were so uncomfortable we ended up bringing out our bedding during the day to make them tolerable. :( This is where you spend the vast majority of your day and eat all your meals, FYI! They also didn't mention they don't provide towels! Fortunately, we did pack beach towels which we also used for our showers. The bathroom on the boat is NOT a flush toilet but a bucket system and the shower is a lower pressure spritz of cold water. They ran out of toilet paper, and said they would not get more as they only provide 2 rolls. (4 staff and 2 customers for 3 days...). In general the accommodations are so basic, it feels like camping, which is not what we were expecting for the money we paid (1200 USD for 4n/5d).
The itinerary provided by email did not match the one followed by the guide. It would have been nice to have been updated on these things, or provided with relevant updates when we landed. We liked our tour guide well enough, but their were some miscommunication with the office and our requests... etc.
The crew themselves (while they spoke no English) were very kind! It was obvious they wanted to help, and they did go out of their way to accommodate any requests we had. I wish I had known ahead of time that we would be asked to tip all of them, as I didn't have much cash on me.
One thing to keep in mind, this is a tourist destination in its infancy! There are very few places that cater to western comforts. We found solace at the Happy Banana restaurant & Pirate Beach Club, opting to pay for dinner over the included meal at our hotel.
Lastly, I had made VERY CLEAR we were vegetarian (no eggs) in several emails - and they assured me this was catered for. However they served chicken, fish and eggs while aboard - leaving us with very little we could eat. We later heard this was a mix up with the Tour Manager who told the wrong boat to provide vegetarian food, and the other customers complained they only had tofu to eat for 3 days (sort of funny - although annoying at the time).

I used Komodo Trans Wisata as my travel agency for my visit to Labuan Bajo and Ende just recently. Before the actual vacation, Mr. Marcellino is being so annoying for continuous and repetitious questions like me and my family's personal and flight information as well as informing that dinner isn't included on the tour for our arrival date AT THE LAST MINUTE (2 days before actual vacation). They also PROMISED for an AIR CONDITIONED boat but we received a NON-AIR CONDITIONED one, even our tour guide said with the price we paid we could've got an even nicer boat.
On our arrival, there is already a problem with the check in as the travel agency isn't doing a good job with CONDITIONED RESERVATION (like connecting room).
On our travel to Ende to see the 3 colored lake, IT WAS TERRIBLE. For the price we paid, we are given a poor quality homestay-like lodge (christin lodge) which is owned by our driver. One of the car's air conditioning isn't performing well and when we demanded a replacement, our tour guide Mr. ALFONSO don't even put much effort to find a replacement. In addition, when HE told us to be awake at 4 A.M. to go to the lake, we are all ready and he is still fast asleep at his room. One of our driver has to wake him up and so we are late. Moreover, when one of our tour member went missing he said to us "it is okay, she must be on her way to the bottom of the hill, let's buy something and eat first here". HOW INCONSIDERATE. HE IS A BAD TOUR GUIDE FELLAS. and even all the tourists spots in Ende are closed on our arrival date and TRANS WISATA KOMODO doesn't even know. so we are left to do nothing as we can't do a thing in the promised schedule.
IN CONCLUSION, TRANS WISATA KOMODO IS A POOR PERFORMING TRAVEL AGENCY THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU THINGS YOU DESERVE FOR THE PRICE YOU PAID. DON'T USE THIS AGENCY AS YOUR AGENCY when you go to komodo island.

TERIMA KASIH (thank you) for the wonderful experience we had at Flores and surroundings! We were very pleased with our tour guide Joseph. Amazing Service - extremely friendly and helpfull. We saw incredible scenery, wonderful underwater world, remarkable Komodo dragons, breathtaking rice fields, unique traditional villages, majestic volcanoes. Thank you. Komodo Trans Wisata is the perfect travel agency in Labuan Bajo Flores. We will recommend it to our friends.

The first we want said "thank you" to Visit Komodo Tours Operate by Marcelino Sunjaya. We are glad booked a tour with Visit Komodo Tour Brand image of Komodo Trans Wisata in November 2014. In other word: Really Amazing Service. Their Staff/guide were extremely friendly and helpfull in every way. We could Always stop to take pictures, always helped with everything. It's perfect travel agency in Labuan Bajo Flores.

We've visit Komodo island and it was very unforgettable. The arrangement from Bali to Labuan Bajo was so smooth and the boat trip to Komodo Island from Labuan Bajo was so awesome. My wife and my children really enjoyed the trip. The timing was good and the service on the boat was also very satisfying. The beauty of the small islands alongside the boat, the clean blue sea and the friendliness of the crew made us enjoyed the trip the most. We can't wait to visiting Komodo again this year.
