Culture & Historical Private Tour 2D / 1N

Spend your time 2Days to exploring our exciting culture and historical Village of Wae Rebo, as Asia–Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2012 by UNESCO

Wae Rebo is the only village in the entire district which still hosts the complete village structure including the traditional houses (mbaru niang house –a cone shaped house with massive roof made of layers of palm leaves and wooden structure), a drum house as symbol of the unity of the clan and communal building as well as the stone altar compang, where the souls of the ancestors are believed to stay.

At Cecer Village: Exciting cultural art perfomance such as the traditional bamboo pole jumping game ‘Tetek Alu’, the ‘Ndudu Dake’ dance, communion dance and the well-known Caci performance. Caci Perfomance is more than just a traditional performance; it is a major element of Manggaraian cultural identity and an important part of ceremonial life.

Communication was good from the get go with FFTteam to arrange or one day trip. We visited 6 locations and all location good but stand out were the ranger on Komodo to get us close to some Komodos then the boat crew finding 7 Mantra rays to snorkel with. Over a great experiance and wasily arranged with FFT. Would fully recommend them to arrange your tours while in LBJ

This was a well-organised tour which picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel. The tour covered many of the main sites including walking with the dragons on Komodo island, a hike on the iconic Padar island and a visit to the Pink Beach. In the afternoon we were taken to snorkel with giant manta rays. A thoroughly enjoyable trip!

Very reponsive from the start. We are a group of 2 families with 3 children age 10-13. We wanted to have boar to ourselves and had anlogn discussion prior to which all answered quickly and satisfactorily. On the day, we were picked up right from the jetty of our hotel instead of by car which is a nice surprise. We went to 4 idlands: padar, pink beach, komodo and kanawa. The crew explained clearly on each island and looked after us well. Overall very satisified with the service, recommended provider.

All worked out perfectly - ours was a last-ditch attempt to see the dragons on Komodo (Rinca being closed at this time) due to the harbormaster's proscription against the sailing of boats under 50GT. I contacted Pak Eginatus first via email, then WA, finalized the arrangements and payment while on the road back from Kelimutu, and was duly met in front of our hotel at the time Egi specified. We were then delivered to the jetty and speedboat at Laprima hotel; the boat was captained by a seasoned mariner who managed the occasional large swells adroitly - so much so that I, quick to become seasick, had no adverse reaction whatsoever. First stop: Padar, for the famous view - quite a climb up a lot of stairs, but eminently doable and well worthwhile. Second stop: Manta Point, where 10 juvenile mantas circled under us. Then to Komodo, where we went on a brief walk with a ranger who of course knew that the dragons like to hang out near the ranger station, but we did anyway see a young one scampering to a log during our walk. Three further snorkeling stops for bidding farewell to underwater Komodo NP (we'd been scuba diving some days previously) included seeing a turtle and a small reef shark - completely harmless, btw. Plenty of bananas onboard, and the lunch was, to my surprise, much better than I anticipated - chicken, tofu, rice, veg. Hot coffee and tea on the boat to warm up a little after the snorkeling.
