We really enjoyed our visit at the weekend. We were fortunate to see up to 3 badgers at a time out of the sett and right in front of us. We had to wait a few hours before we saw them but there was lots of read and other things to watch. The hide was comfortable and well set out... More

This is a very good visit. There are two comfortable wooden hides placed near a badger set. The badgers are habituated to floodlighting, so you can see them quite easily once they come out. We saw several badgers, lots of bunnies and a couple of red-legged partridge popped in too. It was thrilling. The owners of the hide let you... More

This was booked as a birthday present as my husband knew I had always wanted to do this. We arrived early, I have some difficulty walking but the lady who welcomed us let us make our own way up to the hides ahead of the main party so I could take my time. It is a walk up a gentle... More

We had a wonderful time watching these animals, they are so extremely difficult to see, I am a wildlife watcher and I know how rare it is to see them this good. The place where we waited was so confortable and warm, we had electricity, cushions, lights, tables, books... if you go to dorset you just CAN'T miss this! Ana... More

Arrived at 6.30 and we were warmly welcomed, and shown to the hides and had everything explained about how the evening works. Fortunately for us we were the only ones there that night. As these are wild animals there is no way to tell how long you will have to wait or how many badgers you will see, although they... More

My girlfriend booked this as a surprise present, and I'm glad she did. Stayed for around 4 hours and saw badgers most of the time we were there - there was only about 40 minutes in total when we couldn't see any. There's a family of badgers in one of the setts near the hide; 2 adults and 3 cubs... More

We were the only visitors on a wet evening so our hopes were high. Sadly we only saw one badger for about 10 minutes before we left after 2 hours. No ones fault but at £50 for 2 adults and 2 children it was a lot of money. There could be more information in the hut and pencils and paper for... More

Having only fleetingly seen a couple of live badgers in my 65 years, this seemed like an excellent idea. I had previously tried sitting near a sett, which I knew to be occupied and followed the instructions without a glimpse, so I wasn't particularly optimistic. However, soon after dusk a very tentative badger head appeared and after a couple of... More

We arrived at 6 15 and didn't expect to spot any badgers until late - we were wrong! 4 badgers were foraging for an hour. They kept appearing most of the evening - very obliging! recommend you take a picnic. There is a toilet - but in the farmhouse - quite a walk away - so watch liquid intake! Loads... More

We spent three hours in the carefully constructed hide, with a distance of less than 20 metres from several sets. At around 9pm three badgers apoeared and fed close by to the hide, coming and going in between. Each of the two hides is believed to take twelve people, which is possible, albeit a bit on the close side perhaps.... More
