We enjoyed a lovely sunset cruise along the river to Lake Cooroibah. We rang & booked same day - was no problem this time of year. The boat was fairly full but there was plenty of room to move around & take photos. The captain gave only a short commentary along the way - but it was interesting & sufficient. The cheeky birds riding along with us on the roof that popped down for nibbles from the captain were entertaining for the kids. We sat on the top deck - we recommend taking a warm jacket in August. The range of drinks was good & prices very reasonable. At 15 dollars a ticket the cruise was great value. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Departed at 5pm for tour of the River. Some nice scenery and beautiful sunset before we turned around and headed back. Music and Drinks, we brought our own small cheese platter and purchased alcoholic drinks from the bar which were reasonably priced.

We always try and find a sunset cruise where we can and being in Noosa for the weekend, we found a few available but decided on the Noosa Queen.
We were not disappointed. The cruise left at 5pm returned at 6:30pm. Was a lovely quiet trip up the river to see the sunset and passing by an island with a resort owned by Richard Branson. Magpies and a kite bird make appearances with Chris feeding them, they obviously recongize the boat and know where they'll get a feed.
My husband couldn't stop talking about how much he enjoyed this cruise! Highly recommended

OMG this sunset cruise would be well worth the money at twice the price
Cruise up the river to watch the sunset.
Chris is a wizz with the local bird life who call in as he goes by to get meat for their chicks or just to say hello.
A comfortable seat, with the option to move around as you please
All for the bargain basement price of $10 per person
You can also purchase very affordable drinks and packets of nibbles as you float along, like we did.

This cruise was worth the $10 and more. You can bring own food and drinks and eat whilst on cruise. Pass by Richard Bransons Island resort (very hidden and private), Boat stops at lake and waits for sun to set then returns to Tewantin Marina (Noosa). Advice would be to arrive at Marina earlier or at the time recommended for boarding so that you can grab a bench seat with table(very limited) Also, once cruise is full it will leave earlier than scheduled. Overal lovely cruise, relaxing, serene.and excellent value

Everyone loves boat trips and this is one of the better ones. Gives you another perspective of the Noosa region, it's a lovely river with so much to see , river activities and birdlife. Just love the pelicans.
Makepeace is a fascinating resort and few people are aware of the everglades up the river. That is deserving of a special trip.

This was only $10, left around 5pm at end of October, but you have to be there before the estimated leaving time as they leave when it's full. Attractive trip down the river past some beautiful properties & Makepeace Island - luxury resort. Watched the sun set at the entrance to the lake which was lovely. Good amusing commentary, drinks available on-board. Quite chilly the night that we went.

Highly recommend this trip if you are on the Sunshine Coast. Very relaxing and beautiful sunset. Arrive early if you would like a seat (especially with young kids).

Hi. Is this a one way trip or do you return us to where we will have parked our car at Tewantin?

Also plan to arrive more than a hour before departure, the ferry fills very quickly once boarding starts. I saw many people turned away 15-20 before being due to depart when i went.

Hi,when I went they said ring the day before as they might have a private function on.They said just pay on entering but it sailed at 5pm to get there early to get good spot upstairs left hand side.
It depends on what time the dun is setting so best to call.
