Really nice to walk along well built and maintained board walk right along beach edge. Bars and restaurants every 15 mins or so. Go all the way to cala de mijas and make a day of it. Walk one way. Bus the other.

Nothing special nor different. A normal place for relax and pleasure. All is clean and net. Rules apply the rules of mijasmunicipality.

Calm waters and very safe, shallow descent to the beach. A couple of cheap beach bars around, Artola hotel is very nice.

Long and clean beach. Wooden walking trail is very good. There is few restaurants for eating and drinking.

It is a nice, long beach. I saw that it was rated as the top beach in costa del sol, but I would disagree. I think Marbella and Benalmadena have better. Tarifa is nice too.

We visited the area of Calahonda as we had hired a car we thought we would have a look. It was a real surprise the beaches are beautiful very clean and natural in appearance, lots of small beach bars and restaurants all very reasonably priced for food and drink a great board walk linking Calahoda and Cala Mijas.

After a wander around the market at La Cala we decided to go for a stroll along the boardwalk. We walked & walked & ended up at El Caprichio restaurant ( sister restaurant to El Torreon in La Cala). We had a leisurely lunch of sardines, followed by fish & chicken paella, washed down wing a jug of delicious fruity... More
