I have gone to Rodgers Resort on the west coast of Vancouver Island for about 10 years now. Doug and Pam are the owners and they set the pace for the other people who work at the lodge. They are friendly, accomodating and do whatever they can to help you enjoy their facility, the lodging, fishing and food. The rooms... More

Thanks Alan for writing your review. You are one of the best and most knowledgeable fisherman that fishes with us and like you say you often out fish some of our guides. We are looking forward to seeing you again in July. We also thank you for all the business that you have sent our way. More

If you are looking for a 5 star luxury lodge you may want to keep looking. However, if you are a serious sportsman and are looking for a no-nonsense fishing experience in one the most pristine locations on the west coast of British Columbia, Rodger's Lodge should be at the top of your list. Rodger's offers direct flights from Seattle... More

Thank you for taking the time to write such a fair review. We are very lucky to have found our present location because locations like we have are few and far between in this area. This will be our 24th year fishing these waters and we are looking forward to having you return in 2017. More

We have fished with Doug and Pam Rodgers every year for 12 years. They are 100% invested in you getting your fish! With the exception of the first couple of years (learning curve on my boat) we always come with our limit of Salmon and often our limits of Halibut and Ling Cod. Whether you bring your own boat or... If you want to go to a lodge with 5 star amenities, don't go to Rodgers. If you want to go to a true "fishing camp" and enjoy some of the finest chinook fishing in the world, go to Rodgers. They are very nice people doing a great job all around for the "real" fishing people. If you need a... More

buddies and I had a great time at Rodgers, I takes a bit extra to get to this remote lodge but it's well worth it. We had a blast catching those silver Chinook, Ling cod and Halibut, it almost seemed like had the whole area to ourselves. The service was great and food was fantastic looking to book the Tuna... This review is in regards to a trip to Rodgers Lodge the first week of August 2016. It has taken this long to write this review because we were corresponding with the owner trying to come to some kind of a resolve. A group of us booked this fishing lodge as per a recommendation from a cousin that has been... More

Unfortunately, your cousin who organized this trip had to cancell 3 days before you were scheduled to arrive. We thought that all 12 members of your scheduled group knew each other as many of them had fished with us several times in the past. As it turned out the 4 members of your party did not know the other members... More

I have organized a fishing trip to Rodgers every year for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, due to the terrible customer service experience this year, I will not be returning. While the 5 other groups went on the trip, I had to cancel at the last moment. I had to speak with Doug Rodgers (the owner) numerous times about a... More

You cancelled your trip 3 days before you were scheduled to arrive which was the first week of August. We offered you a full credit towards a future trip and the credit was transferable to a third party, if you could not use it. We have a crystal clear cancellation policy and under the terms of our cancellation policy you... More

Over the past several years my son and I have become regular guests at Rodgers Fishing Lodge. Rodgers offers easy access to an outstanding ocean fishery where Chinook and Coho salmon, halibut, lingcod, and several species of bottom fish are abundant. In addition, there are the protected waters of Esperanza Inlet to explore and fish on those days that the... More
