Rogers fishing charter is one of the must do charters for the west coast of Vancouver island. The location on a floating lodge gives you easy access to the fishing grounds. The scenery is incredibly beautiful. The charter is a combined fishing and Eco tour. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the guides are focused and dedicated to catching our... More

Thanks for your review Ken. Sometimes we forget what a beautiful part of the world we live in and what wonders Mother Nature has to offer? You are right in that we have a very healthy Eco system and beautiful scenery right at our front door. Looking forward to seeing you and your crew again in July. More

Had reservations for a May 2017 trip; however, unforseen medical issues caused cancellation in early Feb 2017. We contacted Rodgers via registered mail and email. Worked with Michelle at Rodgers and our reservation deposits were quickly refunded. Looking forward to being able to see the resort itself in 2018!

Sorry to hear that you guys are having some medical issues. I hope that you both can make a quick recovery and can come up and do some fishing with us in 2018? More

Our first trip to Rogers Lodge was in 2011 and we loved it. We took our two young boys the following year, and I don't think we have missed a year since. Our boys have learned the ropes exactly as we hoped they would, gaining memories and experiences not easily obtained elsewhere. We have seen bears, whales, eagles, and have... More

Thanks for the nice review Jeff. My grandsons started fishing with us when they were 5 and 6 and now they are 17 and 18. You are right about it being a great life long experience for kids. I wish that more parents and grandparents would introduce their families to some of the great adventures and memories that the outdoors... More

We have been going to Rodgers for 3 years now. Food is (home style) and very good. The rooms are bunk style if you are with a group. We always arranged for 2 to a room. The fishing is amazing, we have limited out each year. We have always booked Thursday to Sunday, and the past 2 years we have... More

We have added 14 beautiful ensuite bedrooms with 2 guests per room for the 2017 season so our guests now have a choice of accommodations. We haven't increased the capacity of our Lodge with the addition of these new rooms as we are going to be using some of our existing rooms for staff accommodations. Looking forward to seeing you... We have fished with Doug & Pam for over 8 years now and always have had a great experience and good time as they treat you like a friend every time you are there. We have had groups of 3 to 10 people with us and every time and have had lots of fun and great fishing in one of... More

Thanks for your review Rick. To help to shorten your trip from Vancouver we have now have a direct float plane service from Vancouver International Airport to our Lodge. As well, we also have a new shuttle service with Air Nootka from Gold River to our Lodge which will help to shorten the long drive from Vancouver. More

I've made the trip from Seattle to Rodgers five times now and this is a true fishing lodge. No frills here, just great fishing, great guides, good food and lots of stories to tell when you get home. Can't wait to go back. I've made the drive all five times, and it's a great drive, but I think next time... More

Thanks for your review Jeramy. They say that getting to our place is half the fun and we are trying to make this journey a little easier. Besides being able to fly in from Seattle and Vancouver BC we have added a new shuttle service from Gold River BC this season. Our remoteness is the reason why we can offer... More

We spent 5 days at Rodgers with a group of about 30 people. Everyone caught loads of fish! I caught a 40 pound Ling Cod and brought home 150 Pounds of Halibut, Salmon and Ling Cod! Great times!

Glad to hear that your group of 30 enjoyed your stay with us and that you had some good fishing. Most of your group came from California and you all flew in from Seattle and Vancouver BC and I know that this was the first time that many in your group had ever fished in Canada. We are looking forward... More

We have fished at Rodgers four times over the past 5 years and are returning again in June of 2017. All of our trips have had excellent fishing with numerous ling cod, amazing halibut and good salmon fishing for both silvers and springs. Last year we landed a 50 lb ling cod and several halibut that went well over 50... More

We have been fishing at Rogers for the past 10 years. Doug and Pam have been outstanding hosts, and are very accommodating. We bring 2 boats, 4 couples, and 5 large coolers that always go home full of fish. We have lots of stories to take back home about our adventure up north. The guides are great, always willing to...
