I spent last night at the gaol doing the Self-guided Audio Tour for the first time. Definitely a great opportunity for people of all ages to get insite of the gaol's history and inmates' survival.

What a great place to spend a few hours wandering around the cells and yards of the old gaol. You do get a very different view of life behind bars and harsh times those on the inside endured. A great place for kids to explore...More

Interesting to take the tour & find out about how things were. If your into this kind of thing it's worth the visit for sure. Our kids enjoyed it & it filled a few hours we had spare.

Hi Jo, the self guided audio tour is $22 for adults ($16 for concession/children) and runs 10am-3pm. There are other guided tours available for a slightly higher price i.e. $28 Cheers, Marc
