A group of us were travelling from Mt Maunganui to Auckland for a cruise on the Explorer Dream. We had used this service previously and couldn't fault it so Luxury Shuttles was our choice for travel.
We travelled via Coach with all the other excited passengers. The bus was very clean and comfortable however the timetable management and service sadly did not live up to our previous experience.
Our journey began about 9.30am on a very hot day. We stopped several times before leaving Tauranga to collect other passengers who were being driven to the "meet" point by shuttle. Unfortunately the shuttle drivers did not seem to know where they were supposed to be meeting the coach and we spent a long time in the hot sun waiting for them to turn up. Passengers had to insist that we got a pit stop for refreshments. Several of us became dehydrated because of sitting in the heat without air conditioning on. The driver was totally oblivious to our discomfort but then again he had a flask so he could get a drink each time we stopped.
Our return journey was unfortunately worse as we didn't get a stop at all.
I'm not sure if the new way of running the service, was a one off or the status quo now but I certainly would not travel with this service again without reassurance that refreshment stops will be made.

My booking was made months in advance. On the day there was no one to collect my two children and I pre Xmas. We heard from a driver for a later trip departure that there had been an error in their system, and we could not get on his shuttle even departing 1.5 hours later than our booked time. No hire cars were available, nor internal flights. We had to pay $600 to get a trip down with another company.
No compensation was provided, and appalling customer service and no apology made.
Extremely disappointed and will never use them again.

I pre booked a shuttle from Tauranga to Auckland airport return. The shuttle to take me to Auckland was 45 minutes late to pick me up. No apology I had finished work early to meet with their time. Pick up from Auckland they had a timeframe of when we would leave but they waited 45 minutes longer for someone that didn’t appear, really. The driver was obviously flustered for some reason he didn’t have hands free for his phone so would pull off the road to answer his phone in a 100km speed zone, didn’t feel very safe

Very professional, lovely friendly staff. Bus was exceptionally clean. Driver went above and beyond to help my sick husband and myself in a sling. We had a guided tour as well. I would highly recommend Luxury Shuttles.

Booked to get Auckland Airport shuttle due to flight being delayed by 5 hours and arriving at 7:30pm in Auckland rung Luxury Airport Shuttles who advertise multiple and frequent transfers from airport to be advised next shuttle was going to be for people who arrived in auckland at midnight. Being a potential 5 hour wait ahead i rung seeking a refund to enable alternative options to be arranged but was told that was against policy.

I was picked up at Auckland International Airport after a flight from Adelaide in Australia.
On the way back to Tauranga, we travelled via Matamata to Te Poi to drop off a customer meeting a transfer to Rotorua. He then continued to Tauranga over the Kaimai ranges. As I live in Bethlehem, I was somewhat surprised when your driver drove straight past the Cambridge Road turn off. I questioned the driver and he said he was dropping people off at Greerton and Welcome bay before dropping me off at Bethlehem. I found this quite strange as this involved travelling to the other side of town before returning back to Bethlehem to drop me off. I asked the driver to drop me off back at the Cambridge Road (the corner he had just driven past) turn off and I would get my wife to pick me up.
He proceeded driving and dropped me off in Cameron Road. I found the attitude of the driver less than satisfactory. if this is what you consider normal customer service, I shall never use the services of your company again. When I told him I was not impressed with being driven to the other side of town, he said just send in a complaint.

Leave your car at home and save on parking fees. I have used this service 3 times in 3 years and have booked again for 2019.
Need to catch that plane in Auckland and you live in the Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, Hamilton or all points in between, then this company is your most convenient and cheapest way to get to Auckland Airport.
The staff are highly trained very friendly drivers who have extensive geographical knowledge of all the above areas.
Literally door to door even with that oversized surf board for Bali.
Need to catch that plane in Auckland and you live in the Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, Hamilton or all points in between, then this company is your most convenient and cheapest way to get to Auckland Airport.

Your drivers who took us from Hamilton to Auckland airports and vice versa, were first class, in time management, driving skills and manner.
Our month long overseas began and ended with you and Stephen on the return journey went beyond our expectations with his attention to detail.

They make you wait, and now they only leave AKL airport at set times so you could be waiting for up to an hour.

Hi
We offer a shared shuttle service and provide estimated departure times to our clients, not set times. As soon as the driver has all their passengers on board they will leave Auckland Airport. All our vehicles are GPS tracked too and the drivers write down the time that they have met the passenger. I am more than happy to look up your booking and provide you with a written response. Hi, yes contact Luxury Shuttles and I'm sure they'll arrange a pick up time and deliver you to Auckland Airport that is suitable to meet your needs. I've travelled up from Tauranga and back at all hours over the years and they were never too far off time wise. I'm hoping that'll be the same for you but yes, flick an email off to them via the website. They've always answered mine.
