Baroque Rome Walking Tour

Led by an art historian, this walking tour takes you to marvel at paintings, sculptures, and architecture of the Baroque era. Seventeenth century Rome embodied extravagance and theatricality with the Baroque period, going beyond an artistic movement and reaching the richest expression of art that have fully transformed the Eternal City.

Pushing the doors inside several hidden churches that most tourists will never see, you’ll encounter some of the finest masterpieces of Caravaggio, Bernini, and Borromini in their original context, diving into a deeper understanding of each historical beauty.

What a lovely experience. I visited the estate with my boyfriend and his family over the holiday period. We phoned in and we were told we couldn't have a full tour but if we came as soon as possible we could have a short tour and a tasting free of charge. We were running a little late and Simone phoned to check that we were alright. The level of customer service we received was outstanding for our short visit. Not only was the setting and service amazing but the wine we tasted was something really special. I live in a wine region but what we tasted was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend visiting this place. You will not be disappointed. I have plans to visit again.

Visited Tenuta Quvestra with a group of friends and had a wonderful afternoon exploring and learning about the estate, the winemaking process, and of course enjoying some fantastic wines. Simone is such a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable host, and made us all want to run away from the city to make our own wines and bread while surrounded by happy chickens - it’s inspirational to meet someone so dedicated and passionate about their work. The estate is beautiful and the tour is really engaging and comprehensive – Simone took us through the vineyard, cellar, barrel room and bottling area – all of which are done on site. The wines we tasted were delicious. Would absolutely recommend.

My girlfriend and I spend a couple of hours visit the cellar for a degustation and we are very satisfied with our experience. Simone and Myriam are amazing tour guides and their mr knowledge about wine spans across the board. We were provided with a great deal of interesting facts about winemaking and tasting and ended up purchasing a box of their production. We recommend it 110%!!

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, awesome place. The scenery is amazing, the apartments are spacious, clean, airey and light. All the facilities you need, swimming pool is just the thing too cool down on a gorgeous summer evening. Had a lovely bbq, sat outside and soaked up the beautiful vineyards. Simone and Miriam were great hosts, Simone took us on a tour of the vineyards and then tasting afterwards, great wine, meats, bread and cheese. Everyone must go, highly recommend the place.
